I know what you’re thinking. A $300 clutch and flywheel kit for the FRS? Insane right? Well I decided to purchase it. Slapped it right into my turbo built motor FRS and sent it straight to 400 horsepower. Now while I don’t have a whole bunch of miles on it yet (roughly 1,500-2,000) it’s been great. The pedal feel is genuinely good, the engagement point feels natural and the car is easy to drive. This is the second clutch I’ve purchased from Clutch Max the first being for my Miata and I beat the crap out of that car again no issues. It’s well worth the $300 especially if you’re on a budget and just want to get your car back on the road. My only suggestion is to purchase an oem throw out bearing instead of using what comes with the kit.
