I've been playing guitar for over 35 years and was aware of these finger trainers way back in the early 90s but never had one. Having used both the trainer and the Fiddilink for a week or two I am honestly amazed at the difference it's made to my playing. I am already quick, more agile, more precise and stronger. Highly recommended, especially if you do a desk job and spend hours on keyboard and mouse.

Worthwhile to keep.hands functioning

I decided to try this pack of the strengthened and dexterity tool, as I have lost some due to health issues and thought it may help improve my guitar playing. The design of the strengthened seemed quite well thought out as can be held in a variety of different grips and difficulty can be adjusted. It also offered a fingertip conditioner to keep calluses. The Fiddilink dexterity tool is pretty basic just some interlock plastic discs. I have now used both items regularly for quite a few weeks and these are my results. Strength tool. I have not noticed any improvement in things like bar chords, where I hoped to see a difference. Possibly this would have more impact on a very new player, with developing control of little finger, but I have not noticed any improvement in mine but this could be due to health issues. The callous tool is not practical, it does not really work, just some plastic ridges which have made no difference to my fingertips. The fiddilink. Just a fidget gizmo, I did not find any dexterity improvement, again possibly different for completely new guitar players. These are of course sold as aids for when you are way from guitar, but if you are going to try I would say they are more for those completely new to guitar not existing players, as I have not gained anything from them.

Great Product It has helped me regain the strength and flexibility in my fretting hand for playing the Banjo but I believe it would help in many situations. It was recommended to me by someone who had quit playing banjo and guitar because of arthritis and after using this. product was able to recover enough to play again. I used it to recover after having Carpal Tunnel surgery, the improvement in fine motor skills have I believe to be significant due to the use of this product.

This was a gift for a guitar player. It feels well made, the individual finger adjustments are great, silicone makes it comfortable to use and the fidget thingy is a nice bonus. I’m not sure the string callus part would really work but nice to have maybe more as a massage.
