Super Akku, super Verpackung. besonders clever ist der Umstand dass die beiden Pole an beiden Seiten der Batterie vorhanden sind so dass man wählen kann ob der + Pol links oder rechts liegt. AGM Akkus sind in Bezug auf Langlebigkeit konventionnellen Blei-Säure Akkus überlegen. Ferner sind sie einbau Lageunabhängig und haben kein Risiko dass austretende Säure Schäden verursacht.

Arrived fully charged. Correct size to fit my 1977 Cb550K3. The multiple terminals and screw on posts make for quick & easy installation. Excellent cold cranking & holding charge.

Old bikes typically come with flooded batteries with a vent tube. I was busy this Fall with work and keeping up friends, so I didn't charge my battery with trickle charger often enough. Consequently, one day, my lights didn't work and my bike didn't start. I gave the old battery a 12+ hours of trickle charge since it had a 12 Ah capacity, but only lights worked afterwards. The battery was rated for 165 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps), but it wasn't starting my bike, so it was basically useless. I looked at sealed AMG batteries (no vent tubes or need to replenish electrolytes periodically) direct replacements for my particular 1973 Honda because your standard Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts batteries will not fit inside the stock battery compartment. At the same time, I'm holding off on "cafe-ing" the bike out, so I didn't want to switch to Shorai LFX lithium ion battery yet (smaller, more expensive); I wanted to enjoy the stock form of the bike for another year. After replacing the battery, the bike started in 3 attempts (cold start, 40 deg F New England weather). The bottom spacer is nice, but not required for these older 1970 Honda CL/CB models. It fit perfectly in my CL with extra clearance. Just make sure you use a band or a strap to hold the battery in place if your using a stock frame. Install is easy; it already comes with the single Allen wrench and screws you need. Make sure you cover the other 2 terminals that you're not using with the round plastic covers it comes with.
