Only shampoo I've used in the last 6 years
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using Avalon Organics Thickening Shampoo for years, and it continues to be a staple in my hair care routine. My hair tends to get very oily, and this shampoo does an excellent job of making it feel clean and refreshed without adding any heavy residue or oils that weigh it down or make it look greasy. A little goes a long way, and the light, refreshing scent is a nice bonus. If you’re looking for a plant-based, cruelty-free shampoo that helps with thinning or fine hair, this one is definitely worth trying.

The Only Shampoo I Want To Use!!
Hi all!! I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so about this amazing shampoo. This is the second time I have bought this, and I don't think I want to try anything else again. The first time I bought this shampoo, I was searching for something for my thin, long hair that might help it feel fuller and healthier. My first impression was that it was very heavy on the essential oils, and thusly it took awhile for me to get used to the smell as it's pretty strongly herbal. I liked the consistency and lathering, and for me I use a pump and a half to lather up my thin, waist-length hair. I have not had any issues with lather, but I have very hard water so that may help where others have had issues. It took me a long time to get through the first bottle, washing my hair daily, and when that was gone I was ready to try something else. I picked up a different brand from Amazon, and while using the different shampoo, I realized that this shampoo with it's extreme amount of essential oils was keeping my on again off again dandruff at bay!! My dandruff was coming back when I switched, so after using most of the new shampoo I placed an order for my second bottle of this one. When I received the second bottle, it came packed very well, no leaking or anything, and when I pumped some product in the shower I was met by the old familiar heavy essential oil smell that I knew was going to keep my scalp and hair healthy. It was like seeing an old friend again.I can't speak for the biotin making my hair stronger or anything like that, but it cleans well, leaves it shiny and pretty, and is an all around great shampoo. I don't want to use anything else anymore, and I will be trying the matching conditioner once I'm done with my massive sized grocery store brand.I want to speak about those claiming chemical burns. I have NOT had this experience, but as I mentioned before, this shampoo contains heavy amounts of essential oils. If you are sensitive, I'd probably skip this one, but it works for me with no adverse effects. Even though essential oils are natural, that doesn't mean natural botanicals are without side effects.I wish I could give this shampoo more than five stars, it will always be my favorite.

Actually Works — Noticeably Thicker Hair After Daily Use
I’ve been using this Avalon Organics Biotin Shampoo (B-Complex Therapy) daily since January, and I can honestly say — it works. My hair feels and looks noticeably thicker, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It’s rare to find a shampoo that’s both effective and organic, but this one checks both boxes. The formula is gentle, lathers well, and has a clean, refreshing scent. No harsh chemicals, no residue — just a healthy-feeling scalp and fuller-looking hair. The bottle is a generous size (14 oz) and incredibly long-lasting. I use it every single day and I’m still finishing the same bottle six months later — great value for the price.Pros:• Actually thickens hair over time• Organic ingredients — no sulfates or parabens• Lasts forever — ideal for daily users• Clean scent, no buildupCons:• None that I’ve noticedIf you’re looking for a natural solution to boost your hair’s fullness without compromising on quality, I highly recommend giving this a shot.

Soothing & Refreshing – My Go‑To Scalp Rescue
I've been using this tea-tree shampoo for a few weeks, and my scalp has never felt better. The tingly sensation is light—not harsh—yet totally refreshing. The blend of organic tea tree oil, aloe, quinoa protein, beta‑glucan, and vitamin E leaves my hair clean, soft, and balanced without stripping natural oils.

Great but allergic.
I love the way this makes my hair feel and the smell is fantastic! Sadly, I seem to be mildly allergic to something in it because it makes my scalp itch. If it wasn’t for that, I would give it 5 stars. Some people complain about the thinness of the conditioner in other reviews, but I have pretty thick hair so I liked that it wasn’t as thick.

A Shampoo to Tame the Scalp and Tickle the Soul
Oh, darlings, I’ve found a little bottle of salvation, and it’s not even gin! This Avalon Organics Scalp Treatment Tea Tree Shampoo—11 fluid ounces of pure, herbaceous bliss—has waltzed into my bathroom like a knight in shining suds, rescuing my scalp from its daily tantrums. I’d grown weary of the itch and the fret, my hair a limp chorus line of despair, when this tea tree marvel took the stage.A dollop of this potion—laced with peppermint and eucalyptus, mind you—turns the morning rinse into a tingling revue, banishing flakes faster than you can say “last call.” It’s organic, naturally, with aloe vera and chamomile playing the soothing chorus girls to tea tree’s star turn, and not a sulfate or paraben in sight to spoil the party. My scalp, once a battlefield of irritation, now purrs like a kitten who’s found the cream, and my hair? Soft as a sigh after a lover’s quarrel, falling in silken waves that could tempt a saint to sin.Eleven ounces stretch further than a weekend bender, and the scent—oh, it’s a crisp whiff of nature’s own wit, not some cloying perfume to choke a debutante. I lather it up, rinse it off, and emerge feeling like I’ve dodged life’s little barbs for once. This isn’t just shampoo—it’s a ceasefire in a bottle, a quiet triumph over the daily grind, and I’m positively smitten with the whole affair.
