Very useful clipping tool for solving the problem

I bought this selection of tools mostly for the sci-fi grabber, but also as it includes a plumber's worm - the long spring. The grabber wasn't too much help with the clay blockage although it did provide a very useful flexible but stiff rod for dislodging clay packed around the ubend. I did use the grabbing action which may have helped break up stubborn bits. The plumber's worm definately helped, screwing in and through the clay breaking it up very effectively. It didn't bring great clumps back but enough made it back to the sump of the drain for me to scoop it out. It also gives quite good resistance feedback as to how deep the blockage went, and how much it was getting dislodged. It's a couple of meters long which is long enough for a domestic drain. I got the best part of a bucket of clay/silt out, and successfully flushed the rest, and now after 35 years I have a fully working drain. Just realised Amazon is amalgamating reviews for multiple products; the above is for the pack with a grabber. I also got the extra long cassette one which I am confident would have been at least as effective as the smaller one I mostly used. This one has extra girth, and length which are useful - I was able to probe the pipe to many meters beyond the original blockage. Suggest thorough drying before winding it back up though.

The long plunger tube didn't fit down the plughole. The bristles all came off on first use. The orange one all the spikes came off. Would not recommend this product. Didn't do the job!

Total washout. None of these fit a standard plug. I managed to get the orange tool down, but every last tooth popped off, no doubt causing more of a blockage !!! The bristled one is far too tick, only use for this would be best used as a vase cleaner for tall vases. The really long one with the black coating, again way too thick & couldn't even use this in the showers drain because its too thick, and my shower drain is bigger than the sink plug ( which is what I brought this kit for, a blocked sink ) Absolute waste of money.

Worked perfect for unblocking our shower thanks to the girls of the house hold shedding more than the dogs. I used the orange one with the teeth to remove a fully grown rat side clump of hair from the drain. For the money it's a great investment

Handy product the plastic hair puller though is a one use item and the teeth break off quickly.

A member of the family had been flushing kitchen towel down the loo and this little gadget managed to unblock it, saving £££s not having to call a plumber.

Was struggling to unblock my drain for a while and tried a 5m and 10m drain snake and neither worked. Got this 12.5M badboy and unblocked it beautifully. Now I can wash my dishes again.
