I was diagnosed with ALS in March of 2025 by noticing limited use of my left arm and hand. I use Amazon for most of my purchases for many years now. I entered in the search bar, kitchen utensils for one handed people and a wonderful new world opened up for me. I ordered this awesome knife and it is super sharp and well made and balanced for my situation. I can use it with one hand.

This knife is as advertised. It's very sharp and believe me I know because just getting it out of the package I nipped my finger just a little bit. This is another knife that should be kept away from children and maybe even locked away because of the sharpness it could do some damage to anyone not just children. It's a nice size and fits great within my hand. It has a good grip.

I got this because I was like “woah, rocking a knife back and forth would make mincing things so much easier on my hands!” and I wasn’t necessarily wrong about that, but I didn’t account for the fact that the blade width may not suit my needs and it ends up pulverizing some parts while cutting others when all the bits are in a tiny pile. In my opinion, it came plenty sharp and it is well made, but the blade is just thick enough to make it not convenient for cutting vegetables. If I cut meat I may use this, but I rarely pull it out of the drawer. Looks cool, though.
