I bought this to put in my car safety kit in case I need to do a roadside repair. I'm tall and skinny but I got an XXL so that it would fit over my winter coat and for others in my family. It's a bit wide for me, but for an average size person, the XXL is your safest bet. I later bought an XL in orange which isn't as loose. In terms of quality, it looks well stitched and fits well. The yellow mesh and reflective stripes are much brighter in person, which I liked the most.
