Bob's Red Mill Classic Granola, 12oz (Pack of 4) - Whole Grain, Kosher

I love this basic granola that goes with anything well, can be used all by itself or have any number of fruits, nuts, etc. added to it. A great staple for any household.

This granola isn't fancy. It is rather plain. This fact is fine because it has a wonderful taste. It doesn't have extra fat. It can be used as a cereal, a topping, etc. I put it on halved and seeded apples when I bake them to make a healthy dessert, for example. We like to sprinkle this granola on more bland cereals or on fruits. It's very basic but adds a little extra crunch and flavor. It is a consistent product, and the way that Bob's Red Mill does their boxes means when I open the box, the granola bags are standing there as is on display. This makes for easy storage as a bonus.

This granola is made from organic oats, and you can taste the difference from the cheap granola products that come from the grocery stores. It comes in a good sized package, and seems to be pretty fresh. It is flaky and not clumpy.

I did enjoy this granola because it is actually delicious and significantly lower fat than the other granolas. I believe other granolas are adding oils to make their granola richer and crunchier. However, I will avoid granola that has more fat than potato chips on a per serving basis and buy stuff like this instead.

I love this granola! It is true that if you have been accustomed to those sugar-loaded granolas that it may, at first, seem less flavorful. Once your palate gives up the sugar granola, your tastebuds find that there are actually other flavors to taste and you won't go back. This natural granola is crunchy and rich in flavor. When I want a sweeter addition to my granola I add fresh blueberries, strawberries, peaches, or bananas to my morning bowl of Bob's Red Mill whole grain natural granola. Just plain old oats. Good quality and organic.
