Saved me $10,000
My compressor was drawing 65 Amps and I was in the process of getting estimates to replace the whole system, since it uses the old no longer available freon. A friend suggested that I try this contactor as he did not think the compressor was locked up. I figured for the price it was worth trying. I killed the power, and installed this contactor in place of the old one, flipped the breaker on, and the system fired right up. Best under $20 I ever spent. Replaced the start capacitor at the same time just to be on the safe side. Im not a HVAC person by any means, but this part was super easy to replace. Suggest anyone with a compressor not starting up at least test their old contactor or just replace it, because the HVAC guys will try to sell you a whole new system.

Saved me 10s of dollars over the Holiday weekend
My AC unit (outside) would stay running after the thermostat reached the desired temp in the house. The air handler in the house would start producing steam through the return vent and freeze over. I had to constantly monitor the temp in the house. When the thermostat reached the desired temp, I'd have to go outside and turn main breaker off to AC unit so it wouldn't freeze up. Found that the contactor had welded shut. While troubleshooting I realized I neglected the evaporator fins and coils. They were 80% clogged up on 2 sides and partially blocked on the other 2. This will cause overheating issues in the unit and put stress on internal components. Could be why the contactor over heated and welded shut. I called a few companies over the memorial Day holiday and it was going to be anywhere from $400 to $700 just to replace contactor and do routine maintenance while here. I did a lot of research and called some buddies who have AC knowledge. Found this contactor for under $30, ordered and delivered on same day. Turned off main power, discharged capacitor across "C" and "Herm" then "C" and "Fan". Replaced one wire at a time from old to new contactor. Took me about an hour because I've never done this kind of stuff before and I was kinda nervous. But after a few YT videos and Google searches it was a breeze.

Fixed our old AC unit!
The AC in our condo stopped working after hearing a loud buzz when it was trying to run. It had 220V going in to the contactor and 24v from the thermostat to engage it but no voltage on the outgoing poles to the compressor. I couldn't find this unit anywhere locally but had this delivered later the same day. The quality was excellent and it was easy to install, just be sure to turn off the power at the breaker. An HVAC company would've charged thousands and fixed for $11. I highly recommend this seller! Thank you

This contactor is the same contactor on both my heat pump and furnace I bought it for a spare to have just in case one goes bad I bought 2 then replaced one on the 15-year-old furnace last year. 3 days ago for the for the second time in 15 years the heat pump one went out when it was cold in the teens weather replaced it with the spare, I bought last years they lasted<> 10 years I was told by my friend a havoc tech who told me to keep a spare one just in case it needed he said they fell more times on ac heat pump than the furnace because the ac heat pump runs more year round
