🌷🌷🌷a review from Mrs. L.🌷🌷🌷 I gave this oatmeal 5 stars because the flavor, the quality of the food and the ease of preparation was outstanding. Given that we have a family member who requires a very low sodium diet, quick and easy breakfast options can be slim on our typically busy mornings. And if I have time in the mornings, I would rather spend those minutes staring into a gigantic cup of steaming coffee than stirring a pulsating pot of steel cut or rolled oats. So, with great determination to overhaul our breakfast routine. Tipping towards ease of production and nutrition, I began my search for low sodium, high fiber, no added sugar, no or low sodium foods. Lordy! What an experience in researching products that fit my criteria. And, it's amazing what manufacturers put in food to enhance flavor. I finally decided to try Nature's Path Organic Oatmeal Original Flavor. What really sealed the deal was the comment that one reviewer made, that his wife just poured boiling water over it and let it sit for five minutes. I ordered the oatmeal and have used boiling water each time and it turns out perfectly. The oatmeal is good. It has a slightly nutty, earthy flavor. The oats are rolled, so they hold their texture. I add about two tablespoons of golden raisins to the mixture before I pour boiling water on it, so that the raisins give the oatmeal the perfect level of sweetness needed without added sugar. All in all, I just like the wholeness and goodness of a purely unadulterated oat product like these for breakfast. Now . . .on Amazon's product page for this product there is a picture of the box this oatmeal comes in. On the front of the box,it says "NO SUGAR OR SALT ADDED". But, the Amazon description says that it has a sprinkling of flavor enhancing sea salt. So, I picked up the phone and called the company in Washington state. The company said the Amazon description is incorrect. There is no added salt. They have tried to get Amazon the change the description to no avail. Also, the company is very nice to deal with and they appreciate consumer questions and feedback. So, if you are looking for a sodium free oatmeal product, this product has no added salt. So, overall, this is an excellent product. Healthy, easy to make, good flavor and quality. Responsive company.

It's good for instant oatmeal. I prefer their "Homestyle" much better texture, but it's significantly higher in $$$. I buy this because they run their own farms and it's ORGANIC. I am not interested in eating the #1 Brand (Everyone knows who that is) and their GLYPHOSATE grown oats. The price at Amazon is as good or better than I can find anywhere else. I only buy the plain because I do not like added sugars or flax. Ad the water then let it rest a few minutes while the oats expand.

Easy to prepare, and came with a pretty far out date of expiration. Good taste too!

This is my favorite oatmeal. Easy to make. Great price compared to supermarkets and great quality. I always purchase this from Amazon because of the value.

This Nature's Path Organic oatmeal variety pack is one of three total items that we feel the need to keep in constant supply through Subscribe and Save here on Amazon. I love all four flavors, though my overall favorite would definitely be the "Flax Plus". My wife and I spent years using the standard Quaker Instant Oatmeal packets and didn't realize the other products that were out there. One day, I happened across a review for McCann's Instant Oatmeal packets and gave those a shot, and was blown away at how much better than Quaker they were. My life was changed and I thought I was settled on a new daily breakfast product. Until these came along. I looked at and admired the ingredients list in these Nature's Path packets, and thought I had to give them a shot. I was shocked at how much better the taste was in these compared to McCanns (and not even in the same league as Quaker). The cost per packet is still very acceptable, and my wife and I both use this as a daily breakfast on almost every single weekday. She loves all four flavors as well, but we definitely both want the Flax Plus the most, which is surprising because it sounds like it would be the most boring flavor in the box. Highly recommend. Take a look at the ingredients list and compare this Nature's Path product to both Quaker and McCanns. You'll understand everything you read, and if you give them a shot, you will be surprised at how great the taste is. Honestly I am surprised that after having these 4-5 times per week for almost a year straight that I am not tired of these flavors yet, but the four varieties are just enough to keep me from getting too bored, and they are all great. Highly recommended.

Favorite oatmeal …kids love it with some raw honey, fresh fruit, ghee & a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Especially like the apple cinnamon, and raisin flavor, the maple is okay, the flax needs a dash of spice
