MX Keys Mini for Mac Minimalist Wireless Illuminated Keyboard with Free Adobe Subscription, Compact, Bluetooth, Backlit Keys, USB-C, Tactile Typing, Metal Build-Pale Grey

I am writing this review after approximately 2 months of daily usage of my keyboard. & in short, it's a decent keyboard for someone who is looking for it for the long term. First the Positives In the beginning, I was a bit skeptical about its battery performance, as I have a daily use of approx 6-7 hrs. I got it 60% charged, & after approx 2 months, it's still 51%, which is way more than what I expected in real-time usage with its battery performance. Its backlight keys are quite good, as the light bleed around the keys is very minimal from them & they don't distract much. (Though I still prefer to use it without the backlight in daytime, as it helps in saving some extra battery, as well as it doesn't distract me, by keep switching the keys lights on & off again and again( more on this in cons section) Shortcut keys, along with the Logi Options Software, helped me to assign various shortcuts, which are a big plus over any other keyboard. Last but not least, it gets connected really, really fast with the Logitech Bolt receiver. (though u have to buy it separately if you buy Keys mini) Now, The Cons I think, I noticed For context, before this, I had a long experience of typing on my laptop keyboard, which has a bit smaller keys & all the keys close to each other. So, since I shifted to my Keys mini, it kinda somehow feels not optimal for my long, fast typing experience. Believe me, the keys are good, the key travel is good, still, somehow I always end up pressing the wrong key whenever I try to type something in a hurry. It might be me only, so, not a con as such, but I expressed what I noticed. Overall, the keys are at a bit distance from each other than what I feel they should be for a smooth typing experience. Not giving a USB bolt receiver with the MX mini is a big con. Also, they have not mentioned it anywhere specifically that you have to buy it separately, is a bummer. Thankfully, I had Mx mouse already, so I didn't had to buy it again. I liked the older version of the MX Keys mini keyboard more, which the seller has used in the picture, with that big "Enter" button. But yeah, the newer version is okish too. It doesn't get connected via USB & not even sure about the Bluetooth. You have to buy the Logitech Bolt receiver for it. At this price, I think, they could have given this option at least, as nowadays, many laptops don't come with USB-A ports. If you use the keys' backlight, then be ready for it to go off again and again, as soon as you stop pressing the keys for even 5-6 seconds. It happened to me many times, while I stopped for thinking about something, the lights of off automatically to save the battery. After a while, it starts distracting more than increasing productivity. Overall, I gave it 5 stars, as it still feels very robust, and comes with a lot of positives than its downsides. Its slim design will gonna make you, do some more typing work.

After nearly four years of continuous, heavy use, I will say that this is a great keyboard! The typing experience is a dream and super smooth. The backlight is there when you need it (I almost always never do), and the keyboard's charge lasts a long, long time. It is also light and very portable. I've never had any problems with the bluetooth connectivity either, and there has never been any lags even when it has been tethered to more than one device. I bout the rose gold version, and it remains a looker! Highly recommended!

I’ve gone through many reviews both positive and negative before buying this keyboard. I was confused between Apple’s Magic keyboard and Logitech MX Keys Mini for Mac. But finally I decided to go with MX. Here are my takeaways : Positive side: 1. Key travel is just amazing, after few days of usage you will realise how amazing it is and apple keyboard will seems like nowhere to this. 2. Battery life is great. 3. Lag - I’ve not encountered. It’s so flawless. 4. Device Switching - It supports 3 device connections and with click of a button switching is so smooth. 5. Ergonomics - Logitech have taken care of this thing very seriously while designing it. 6. Backlit- With multiple brightness settings it looks amazing with backlit. Negative Side: 1. No wired connection- Yes you read it right, you cannot use this keyboard with a cable. Though you can continue to use it via bluetooth even while charging. 2. Top row keys are bit different from actual macbook’s keyboard. Maybe it doesn’t make difference for everybody but it is good to have exact key functionalities for a keyboard that is designed specifically for mac. 3. It is so expensive. It should have been placed somewhere in range of Rs 8000 to Rs 10000. Being available in USD99 same as that of magic keyboard which is being sold at Rs9500, this is a expensive deal. 4. Even if selling at this price fingerprint sensor could have been added. Conclusion : Still this is an amazing keyboard if you want to come out of apple’s ecosystem and want an alternative. I will rate this above apple’s magic keyboard. You will not get any different feel if you go for apple magic keyboard from that of your macbook’s keyboard. So I would recommend this one. What can I say this is the king of battery life and typing. Makes me type faster. Lights up when I type. Has an app. Best wireless keyboard for office or work use. Not sure about gaming.

It is an excellent keyboard. It is a joy to type on, the keys are responsive, the bluetooth works exceptionally well (including when swapping between devices), it looks great (really professional and sleek), and I've had many compliments made about it by guests. Paired with my Dell 27" 4K monitor (can't recommend that highly enough, for the price) and my Logitech M720 mouse, it is a great combination to use whilst working from home - or simply whilst browsing the web and relaxing. The ergonomics are great, too - even when at the desk for eight hours, typing all day, neither my fingers nor wrists tire. However, be warned - you cannot adjust the height or angle of the keyboard. So if it doesn't suit your hands/arms/wrists, you may need to return or sell the keyboard. Seemingly, though, that is an issue for very few people. It is compatible with the Logi Bolt USB receiver if you prefer that over bluetooth (meaning, a tiny little USB receiver, which may be more stable compared with bluetooth) - but take note - that receiver isn't included with the keyboard (strange, given the keyboard's price, but at least the receiver is pretty cheap). The other good thing about the receiver is that various other products - e.g. various Logitech mice - pair with it, too, so it can all be used with the one receiver. Just check on the Logitech website to see whether any product is compatible with the Bolt receiver or Unifying receiver et cetera. Overall, 5/5, I haven't found a better keyboard in my many years of needing and using external keyboards. Love it, and will very happily replace it when it dies, which feels like a million years away. Get the full-sized version if you need the numerical keypad + the bigger arrow keys (et cetera). I snagged this keyboard for $120 AUD during the Prime sales, but even closer to full-price it is worth it, in my opinion (I bought the full-sized keyboard for my office desk for full-price - no regrets or issues in three years).

This keyboard types like a dream. It is so addictive to use, compact and looks extremely stylish. The color is so deliciously pink. I am a keyboard fanatic, so I have tried many keyboards out there. This one is one of the best ones I ever had. The "bounceback" feel and "clicks" of this keyboard - the sounds and feeling of it... Logi has nailed it once again. They have hit and miss products, and this one is a an extremely great hit. It is great on your desk, and I hesitated getting it cause I wanted something with a number pad. But honestly, I dont use the number pad so much, and now I realized that I dont miss the number pad that much. I love it so much that I got the matching mx mouse - which is also incredible. It is also very "ergonomical" - the tile of the keyboard is just right and the size is great for you to use your mouse to not get a "strain" in your elbow / wrist. if you work a desk job all day - u get it. My work from home set up is now a dream home office thanks to this beautiful keyboard.

I checked almost every combo cover/keyboard, like the Logitech combo for the iPad, and decided to go with this MX KEYS MINI. My main reasons are: - With iPad keyboards, you must always carry the keyboard, or your screen has no cover. - Having another touchpad on the keyboard is none-sense to me, as the screen is touch and an inch from your hand. - You can still use the keyboard with another two devices, which is great a option. - Although it's heavier than most of the cover/keyboard, it's still fully functional for taking with you out.
