Very well built, and small form factor. Fits nicely into a cable run, or directly attached to a port on a machine. The captive screws hold everything together, and make modifying easy. Good value for the few dollars, for sure. It's a full pass-through, so it has all of the functionality you could ever need, and it's compatible with all ports because of that.

Hello, If you are really looking at the picture it appears there is a male to female adapter due to the D surround metal stamp marks. But there are only straight gender changers as description says. Picture is misleading if you look at the upper right adapter set. The crimp Dsub surround and smooth are paired with male or female connector styles. So the upper right set should be a extender style or M/F adapter but is not included in kit.

They’re 232’s. They work well and are easy to use.

These work fine and matched the description (3 each F-F and M-M). There are nuts on both sides of the F-F connectors, which may prevent insertion into a M connector with female threads, such as a 34401 multimeter. Removing the nuts from the adapter allows it to work with the bolts it comes with, but they hold it together and it's fiddly to re-assemble if it is pulled apart. Having it apart it was clear that all the pins are wired straight through. Removing the nuts will also remove the shield to shield ground connection. A few dabs of epoxy is recommended to hold it together if you need to remove these nuts.
