What stands out right away is how gentle it is. The whole calming line really lives up to its name — no redness, no breakouts, no weird reactions, even on sensitive or acne-prone skin. The textures are light, non-greasy, and absorb fast. You don’t get that sticky residue feeling some moisturizing sets leave behind. Everything just soaks in cleanly and leaves your skin soft and balanced. My wife has fairly reactive skin and always reads every label for harmful ingredients — so it’s a relief that this set is packed with clean components (no fragrance bombs, no alcohol sting, no pore-clogging nonsense). Definitely feels like it was made with care. Bonus points for the ingredients: centella asiatica, tea tree, hyaluronic acids — all the stuff you'd expect in a solid Korean calming set. It keeps her skin hydrated through the day without looking shiny. As for me, I mostly use the cream in the mornings when my face is dry and tight, and it genuinely works. It’s a great self-care gift (or just a personal treat). Not a cheap set, but it’s worth it for the quality and how well it works. Would definitely repurchase.

Had to write this review because of a previous review I saw stating the product has no brand name on the bottle/packaging. The brand name is clearly labeled on the bottom right of the bottle/packaging. The reviewer also stated everything written on the box was in “Chinese” when it is actually in Korean and English. The specific reviewer also indicated the ingredients were not listed in English which deterred the reviewer from first using it. The ingredients are labeled in English on the packaging which is actually evident in that reviewers video as well. I am not trying to shame this reviewer but it’s very tiring to see misleading reviews on here because people do not know about brand packaging aesthetics or how to read a box for that matter. Most cosmetics/personal care items are incorporating a minimal design which can be seen in most Asian and European beauty products. Even products in Sephora have minimal packaging and includes the ingredients only on the packaging so I am not sure how people are so “perplexed” by this packaging style. These are products you actually want to leave on your vanity or bathroom counter because not only are they beneficial to the skin they are also well packaged and beautifully designed. All in all I love this product and have been using this brand for years and had to clear the perplexing reviews. I have sensitive skin along with eczema and this has not caused any flare ups. It leaves the skin nourished and hydrated. The barrier cream and serum formulations contains an amazing blend of ceramides and soothing ingredients like centella asiatica that has helped to repair my damaged skin barrier. The serum and toner both have a viscous texture, so it is not watery/runny. The barrier cream is lightweight but is very nourishing for my dry skin. I tend to use the toner only x2 a week specifically on nights that I am NOT applying retinol as it does have AHA + PHA and Willow bark extract (a form of salicylic acid). I am no way affiliated with the brand just someone who loves reviewing beauty products to justify my shopping addiction. Also please watch some beauty content creators like Labmuffinscience it seems most people would benefit from learning from a professional/someone in the cosmetics chemist industry. I know taking the the time to learn about my skincare needs definitely helped my skin instead of just relying on one product as the entirety of my skincare routine!!

I honestly am so disappointed in myself for NOT taking a before and after picture of my skin. This calming line is AMAZING and truly makes you feel luxurious and high end without breaking the bank. Oh! And did I mention it works WONDERFULLY! Personally I have sensitive combination skin and I found that just using the Pyunkang face wash, toner and calming serum was best for me (with the Beauty of Joseon calming serum too) to see great results. This kit comes with a moisturizing cream as well, but due to it adding too much extra moisture it was making me break out more so I'm skipping that last step. I will continue to use this brand until I die it is amazing. 10/10 it's effective and affordable so just give it a try! And remember that skincare is usually specific to the person so if something doesn't work just try a different one. It takes time but once you find It you'll feel much better!

I’ve bought this set multiple times and it never disappoints. The whole moisture line is great, hydrating and calming to my excessively dry and sensitive (easily irritated and redness) skin without being heavy or causing breakouts. The serum especially is a whole experience, like giving your skin a tall, refreshing drink. I took off one star as the price has jumped over $10. Yes, that’s purely out of self-entitlement as I really loved how cheap this set was, but in reality the price is still affordable considering the amount of products and the quality. 10/10 do recommend!

PACKAGING: This came so Beautifully wrapped. Such a great gift. I bought a few and have given them to close friends. Such high quality packaging, very elegant and unique PRODUCT: the product itself is so great. I had used too many actives on my face and had a bad reaction, stripping my skin barrier and making me break out. I used these products to calm my face down and help restore my skin barrier. You can see the picture on the left is before I used the products. The picture on the right is when I woke up the next morning after using it and sleeping. It calmed the irritation and inflammation down so much and after a couple days my face looked a million times better. This wasn't for repairing acne This was for repairing the skin barrier which was causing me to have a breakout due to that. Such a gentle and calming formula that was perfect for what I needed. Great for sensitive skin.

Stopped my breakouts. Korean skin care really is the best. Would recommend this to anyone with very stubborn acne prone skin. You see and feel the results after the first use). Works well for melaninated skin tones (African Descendant). :)

Bin seit vielen Jahren auf der Suche nach einer Hautpflege die für meine Problemhaut geeignet ist. Mit diesen Produkten habe ich endlich das richtige für mich gefunden. Die Haut wird binnen kürzester Zeit beruhigt, wirksam gereinigt und gut gepflegt. Auch nach längerer Anwendung immer noch top Ergebnis, bei mir keine Nebenwirkungen. Endlich kann ich abdeckendes Makeup auf ein Minimum reduzieren.

Super gut für meine empfindliche Haut.
