First off I can definitely say the rust oleum spray on liner is garbage. Overpriced rubberized undercoat. Gave one more chance because herculiner does not offer a clear version. Played around a bit with the can when I received it. Seemed that ultra thin coats were the way to go. Takes foooreeeever to cure. About 1 week sitting over dehumidifier 40%rh 71F. Ready to start trailer nose cone. Had it sanded, cleaned, degreased, dust free, and prepped with adhesion promoter. In their defense I did not purchase application kit. Tried a trim roller. Disaster. Immediately aborted and switched to a brush that worked with aluminum test peice with a bit of back brushing. Stuck with the thin coat. Waited the required 2 hours. Applied 2nd coat life is good. Was in the evening no direct sunlight 65F about 45%rh. Pretty excited to see how it came out. Disappointment overtook me next day as I see horrendous yellow splotches and streaking throughout. Pics are at 24hrs cure time. I really hope these cook out over the week so I’m not sanding or painting over. If this is normal it should advise on the package instructions. Fool me twice shame on me. 3 times I’m asking for it. Update….So after weeks most of the yellow splotches have faded out except for the big gnarly one on bottom right of pic. Haven’t put a lot of miles on it yet but has made it through heavy rain and bugs. I expect the coating to be sacrificial so will expect some chipping. Adhesion looks to be holding up so far. Will plan on clear coating to add uv protection soon.

Worked fantastic for my application. Keep in mid that this is clear and will need to me mixed with the color of choice and texture will need to be added also per instructions. I would surely buy again.

Okay, I know this isn't designed for plywood, but I built a wood shed, and it has a plywood floor that is subject to wind-blown rain. I used this truck bed coating to protect the plywood, and it looks great. My shed is 5' X 12', and one quart got me two thick coats on the floor. It dries clear and it looks great.

Coated the bottom of my boat with a small roller, added 2 oz per qt. of cheap Walmart acrylic hobby paint (English Ivy Green) and it came out great! 2 qts covered ~60 sq ft. Could have used another coat but I was ready to get the boat in the water !

I used on my interior boat deck which is beige. Layed it on heavy. Seems durable, but there may be a slight issue with yellowing. Not to concerned because it looks good over the paint and non skid chips.
