If you live in a city or if you just need to *see* how your furkid is responding to stimuli, this back is it! It's the perfect size for my 8lb kitty. We've been out every day this summer. * It's well made, great construction, quality materials; * It has a sturdy bottom, no sag whatsoever, so kitty is never tilting; * It's light weight; * Has great padding; and * To date I have yet to feel any pain in/on my shoulders or back. Zero. Nothing. Nada! I could use a couple more pockets or loops to hang things, but I've improvised. Overall I love this backpack and would highly recommend any carrier from ibiyaya!! The quality is on point!

This pet carrier is really good compared to the previous one that I used before. First when I opened the box, I found it small but it gives enough space to my cat and it’s very convenient for pet transport. My cat loves the front glass or porthole, it makes him connected with outside. The only thing I dont like is the pet mat provided which moves when the cat moves... so I had to add another one (from Ikea) and it works well for my cat. The zipper are very strong on the front and back which is making me only use the top gate for entering or exiting my cat. Overall, it’s a good bag with a beautiful design and reasonably priced.

This thing is cute but wayyyy too big for my chihuahua and way to big to fit under an airline seat. The bottom is hard so you can’t squish it under a seat.

Took my kitty in this on a flight from the east coast to AZ and she did great in this carrier. All the flight attendants thought it was the cutest thing ever. It's very well made and sturdy and has a lot of vents so you don't have to worry about your pet overheating inside. It has an open top pocket on one side and a pocket on the other side that snaps shut where you can put treats or food, very convenient. Only con is the little pad it comes with inside has a velcro strip on the bottom like it's supposed to connect to the bottom, but there's no strip for it to connect to, so it can get pushed up and block some of the vents if you don't keep a close eye on your pet. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it.

This pack is nicely made and good looking. i have a 14 lb Chihuahua/ poodle mashup dog and he can lie down (curled up) or sit in it when its upright. He would have more room to stretch out if i laid it on it's back, which is one of the ways to use it. Its too big to fit under an airline seat so that is a negative. I would not want to carry the dog in it for a long time - i think it would not be that comfortable. I have been traveling in Mexico and use it mostly when I go on walks with the dog but want a way to contain. him if I want to ride in buses or taxis or go into businesses to shop. It is pretty easy to just pop him in there for a few minutes and then put him back on his leash once we are out and about again. It also can function as sortof a backpack to put small purchases in. I would not load it up too much, but I have carried loaves of bread, a sweater, some fruits and veggies etc in it. Obviously, once i start putting things in, i wont be able to use it for the dog. It has two side pockets to hold his leash and his collapsable bowl or other small items. I think the smaller size might work better with a smaller dog. In this larger size, there is more room, but its also ergonomically a little odd and just bulkier than you'd think. it can fold down relatively flat. the base is some sort of stiff material so it isn't saggy. My sherpa works well for transport and plane trips, but this one has been somewhat useful in our travels.

I used to use a dog pack in the front for our 11 pound Havanese but it hurt my back after a while so I bough this one and it's terrific. Very sturdy. Our dog feels very comfortable in it. I would like to have the part that hits my hips more cushioned. I ended putting some foam there and that works great.

Great product!! Smaller then others but still big enough for my cats, including the bigger ones (they're all pretty regular sized). The straps are a little big on me as a backpack, even when I put them on the smallest scale (kinda causes a "pisa tower" effect on it), but when I put it on my front side instead and it's excellent, straight, comfortable and I can see how my cat is :) My only problem is that putting together the side with the bubble on was extremely difficult, including putting the bubble itself, due to the pieces being either extremely tight or the parts were a little too big, something like that, I just won't be using that sides zipper too much.

I'd love to give it 5 stars. However, the listing is a bit misleading. The large is listed as being 16.5L x 11.8W x 12.5H , and for medium sized pets with a weight limit of 17.6lbs. My girl is just under 9 lbs and 13 inches, and the other little guy just over 8 lbs and 11 inches long, both have bodies that are 15" Circ less than 5"wide, the weight is no problem. They spend lots of time in their crate together that's 16.5L x 11.8W x 12.5H, half the time with the third guy, They length wasn't the problem here, the 11.8x12.5 they could barely fit side by and they nearly always lay side by side. It wasn't impossible, but it was for sure tight. Only worth a half star, I wouldn't take a full star because soft and hard sided will always vary. However, the straps on this are funky. Maybe IF I can get the pad to slide over the buckle I can get them to adjust short enough to be reasonable as a backpack. Otherwise, making them as short as possible, even at 6'4" the bottom bounces against my hips, just above my tail bone. Not comfortable. Okay with only 8lbs in there, wouldn't want more than that. If you wear it in the front, the straps are useless unless you cross them, however then they just creep closer and closer together until the cross is right at your neck. An S clip of some kind can fix that. The dogs love it though so still 5 stars. I hate having to make adjustments to something when it's brand new, but the fact they fight over it and bully each other, literally, drag one part way out till they can get in the bubble, which both will not fit in at the same time and then shove the other one out completely when it's sitting in the back of the truck, the house, or it's inside with us. Hopefully they'll like it as much on the plane.
