Update : took it to Tefal service center and they replace it on the spot. 4 stars for great customer care It’s average , good power , But it died less than 1 year. They don’t make them like they used to do.

The base is smooth. Ironing clothes with continuous steam is excellent. No leakage. So far, it's promising.

I got a used product. After unboxing there was water in the water compartment. And it did not function after plugging it to the mains AC. Tefal brand/company should have quality controls over their resellers/distributors. Bad name for Amazon too.
