I bought 2 of these. Better than expected!! I didn’t use the velcro or the strings on the side. I placed the draft stopper in front of the door and it sealed it up nice!! Also put one in front of my sink. No more cold coming from the room we don’t use!! These electric bills are no joke and I had to do something to keep our house warm.

I'd been looking for a door draft stopper thingy off and on for years, but never found one that seemed better than the towels I was used to using. Then I found this draft stopper that actually made sense. For starters, this stopper is at a 90 degree angle! It actually fits snug against that square corner where your door meets the floor - and for a couple inches both up the door and away from it. I have no idea how the typical rounded tubular versions can stop drafts if they aren't flush against the gap that lets the air in/out. Next, it's black. All three sides (and both ends) are solid black, not some weird color/pattern that will clash with your decor or easily show dirt it picks up from the floor it lives on. Each of the 3 sides are different material. The bottom has a rubbery element to help keep it in place and any minor moisture on the floor from getting to the filling. The back that will be next to the door is more of a nylon material. It doesn't need to be pretty but still needs to protect the filling while not scratching the door. The front and sides are velvety soft and give a comfy vibe. The black cover is just that, a cover. It protects the triangular shaped filling. The cover is washable and the zipper that closes it around the filling is very inconspicuous. The soft black loops on each end make the stopper easy to store when not in use. Worth noting, it's not necessary to use the included velcro to attach the stopper to the door. The stopper fits snugly enough without the velcro but when it's especially windy or cold, I place a couple shoes along the length of the stopper to ensure a really snug fit against the door. My door draft stopper arrived during a storm with windchills well below freezing and it made an immediate difference in keeping the warm air in my place and the cold out out. My only complaint is this draft stopper isn't available in other sizes. Depending on your door size and whether it opens in or out, this stopper won't work in all situations. If you're on the hunt for a draft/light/sound stopper, this is the one you need - as long as it will fit along the door you'll be using it against.

I got this to keep the heat from escaping under my front door. It works well and was easy enough to put together. I don't use the adhesive- I find that most of the time they don't stick well in the cold and leave a mark on the door, and I just don't want something stuck to my door. Even without the adhesive, it sits reasonably straight- so I just put a shoe in front of it to make sure it seals against the door well enough and it works well. I would suggest that a design change that puts a third beanbag in the center would be perfect to make it sit straight on its own and eliminate the need for the adhesive in the first place. Overall, nice product, reasonable price, works well.

After years of trying different draft stoppers, and wasting tons of money, I have finally found THE ONE! It works great, and has really made a difference in the temperature in my laundry room. I love that it fits perfectly and I’m not having to continually bend over and move it closer. Would highly recommend.

I went with this option to stop drafts from a door. This one appeared to be promising due to the design, height, and how it appeared in the photos. It was packed with the black sleeve, two sand bags (placed at ends), Velcro strip, and a vacuumed bag foam bar. Assembling the item took minutes which is nice. When I cut the sealed bag, the foam insert started to grow with aid as expected but not to the same size as the sleeve. This causes gaps along on the sleeve that goes along the door itself. There is velcro but wasn't sure it was required to keep in place. There are two small sand bags that get placed at the ends to add weight and better hold in place. Based on the photos shown, the sleeve is solid full and the velcro won't be required. In comparison, the photos appear to be a hard foam in the sleeve but that fullness is not what you receive. I will keep the item in hopes the foam will fill out into the sleeve more evenly but at this time its not great. I will update this review in in the future weeks to see if it has improved or remains at the same level. I will also use the velcro in the end if required to see if that helps.

Ordered 2. One had the foamy part partially puffy, but the other one was flat as a pancake. Neither fit well in the sleeves? And the weighted pouches didn’t fit right and didn’t stay in the sleeve at all. Neither did anything to block air, and both were so ugly. A better idea would have been to just fill the sleeve or a long sock with rice, dried beans or dried corn, or just roll up a towel. The adhesive tape helps a little but it’s overall too ugly, doesn’t fit any door well, and is useless unless you use the sleeve and fill it with your own old socks or dried beans etc. Too much hassle to send back. Tip…. Do not pick black… shows dirt & fuzz

Measure your door so you get the right size. For mine, I didn’t need to even cut the foam wedge. I just put the wedge and sandbag into the cover. I cut the adhesive to fit my door and stuck the draft stopper there. It’s stayed in place and is doing its job keeping my room freezing cold while the rest of the house enjoys the heat.

Very disappointing purchase. It’s made of flimsy foam and doesn’t weigh enough to create a seal. It’s also not firm enough to hold shape as a wedge.

La compré porque necesitaba que la puerta quedara entreabierta porque tengo gatos y no la puedo cerrar, pero con el frio puse calentador y necesitaba cerrar! Esta fue la perfecta solución, pesa lo suficiente para dejar la puerta entre abierta y que los gatos no la empujen. Trae un velcro que se pega con cinta autoadherible a la puerta y pega muy bien. Además el material es muy bonito y puedes lavar la funda en la lavadora. Me encanta!

Llego en una medida más corta, se debe armar y no queda exactamente como en la foto
