Monthly payment after purchase
Fantastic camera. Small and discreet however after used fur a week they are now asking for £10.99 per month for playback video and keeping any.

Fantastic product
Fantastic product for a variety of applications. Have it set up as an indoor security camera with constant USB power- very easy to hide and captures high quality footage with clear sound. The night vision is also fantastic due to its infrared light, which turns on automatically in low light. You can set the distance and sensitivity of motion detection, and it’s very well thought out. Highly recommend this product

Nice camera, a real shame about the poor help and support
The camera met most of my expectations based on the description given, it was easy to set up and works well. The pictures are great and the basic functions are easy to use. Every works well except the motion detection and tracking which is next to useless. The camera only seems to detect motion which is directly in front of it. Most of the time is seems to track ghosts wondering around on its pedestal aimlessly. That said, I still like this product. However, the big disappointment is that the product only comes with a 'quick start guide', no full user manual is packaged with it and none is available to download. So, I can use all the basic functions but with everything else I'm on my own. There are many things I do not understand and am still trying, by trial and error to figure out. I still don't know what is recorded on the SD Card vs the Cloud Storage, nor how to download images. I can't work out how to pan/tilt and zoom at the same time and I only found out there is a PC application to use the camera after stumbling across it online while looking for something else.

Portable & wireless
This is the second Ezviz camera I've got but this is even better because its rechargeable, wireless, small & portable. Easy setup, strong signal, great design & quality. Easy connectivity to wifi & app. Just what I expected from Ezviz product, lots of positives. Lucky to have got this at a reduced price because the next time I checked the price had gone up!

Better than expected Baby monitor camera from Ezviz/Hikvision
UPDATE 29/04/2022 4 starts to 1 star. I am RETURNING this camera as there is no option to continuously watch live without having to click continue every 30 seconds due to it trying to save battery consumption. All other Ezviz cameras have the "Lan Live View" option allowing you to continuously watch Live however after speaking to Ezviz Support this is not possible on battery operated cameras. I understand the battery saving side however I only need to watch live for 45minutes at a time while my baby naps and I am happy to charge the camera more often because of this. Also another alternative would be to allow continuous live streaming while the camera is on charge. If Ezviz do ever allow this function I will be happy to purchase this camera again I have many Hikvision camera's around my home and this is my second indoor camera with the first being the Cube DS-2CD2421G0-I. This BC2 camera quality is on par with the cube and the talk back features actually work with the inbuilt mic and speaker. With the BC2 being completely wireless and the form factor of being so small and magnetic this camera is a go to if you were looking at the Cube as an option. The only reason you would go for for the cube in my opinion would be due to POE, reduced lag and quicker connection compared to wifi. One thing that has not worked out for me yet, (it may not work at all) is hooking this up to to my Hikvision DVR in order for the camera to record on its HDD as well as it displaying with my other cameras on my hik-connect app and CCTV monitor. This could also be one benefit of having the Cube instead of the BC2 if I cant figure out a way to do this. UPDATE 29/04/22 - this will not work as its battery operated :( I have not tested the battery life capability yet but it seems like if you leave it on the power save mode it will last the full 50 days where it will not record or use motion detection. The motion detection worked quite well when I tested this feature and there is sensitivity options in the app which you definitely need to adjust as out of the box it was too sensitive and alerted for minuscule movements. I was surprised at the strength of the magnet as the main body and stand is magnetic it stuck to wall up-lights and even a screw on the wall where a clock previously was. I did not use the metal plate, literally just the stands magnet was strong enough to hold the camera from a screw. Overall for the price at £60 (Offer - £10 voucher and free 16gb SD card) I think this is an extremely good purchase, I personally am using it as a baby monitor that I can move freely throughout the house without the need of cables and having to wait until the camera loads and connects to wifi on power up. In my use case I do not utilise the recording function or motion detection which is a plus as it saves battery life, however when I get to the stage I do not need it as a baby cam I have the option of utilising it for something else.

Could have been much better but lacking expected basic options...
I had high hopes for the BC2 mini camera but sadly returned as it lacked some basic features found in much cheaper wifi albeit mains powered cameras. The positives: Completely wire free and portable, reasonable size and clear footage with minimal audio video lag. The negatives: The bottom of the camera is the only magnetic part to attach the mount, you cannot attach the magnetic mount to the top or sides so if you want to mount upside down from ceiling or fixture you cannot flip image! Cheaper cameras have flip / invert option so for a £65 camera at time of purchase it is an oversight. No option to override IR night vision lamps. At night there is a constant red glow which is fine in most cases and you might not mind the IR cut click on and off, would have expected option to override such as a Day / Night / Auto as found in other cameras for a third of the price. It's an indoor camera - if pointing out through a window and you have sufficient street lighting you would want to turn off IR to stop glow / glare, reflection. EZVIZ app menus and options seem disorganised and all over the place. You have a Profile menu that contain device related options such as Storage, My Album, Device Network Tools and LAN Live View. Why? Then you have a toolbar with Library for recorded events (why have My Album too?) and then for each device there are further device menus. Menus contain some settings with no description of what the setting is for. I don't know why menus / toolbar can't be more streamlined or customised for example Account, Storage, Device, Library. Live View prompts you to continue viewing after a very short period of time so you can't monitor continuously. There was an option in one of the menus to set power profiles but seemed more for battery life and no indication of live view session timeout. Given the above negatives it was frustrating to keep enduring the menus any longer than an hour. Not intuitive where or how to delete recorded events. You can't delete from a timeline of events but you can delete from within another menu. Don't ask me where because menus are confusing... A minor annoyance is a permanent Cloud storage ad banner on main screen that cannot be closed / removed when using microSD card as storage. Conclusion: If EZVIZ tidied up app menus and introduced IR override and flip invert then it would be a competitive device especially being wire free and for the 30% reduced price since time of review / returned order. If you don't have specific mounting, orientation and low light needs, it's OK. Did not own long enough to test real battery life usage. There is a new CB2 version but I don't know if it has new features other than USB-C that will resolve these negatives.

Great as a baby monitor
We have a couple of the eziviz fixed cameras with the magnetic bases to use as baby monitors for the kids. We brought this one as when we are away at the grandparents place, the kids share a room but either side of the room. This has a simple pan and tilt feature which is easy to use and I can adjust the position of the camera on my phone when I hear a disturbance. I haven't set any motion detection up as my kids fidget and I only check the cam if I hear a noise through the walls or just want to check them. This cam was easy to set up but I just added it to my existing app. From memory, setting the ezviz app up from fresh was quite easy anyway. Only point to make is if you change your router/wifi settings you have to reset each camera up as well as they are tethered to the settings you used on first install.
