Adjustable Book Stand

This is very practical: when you set the angle it stays put for the time you’re using it and the little arms hold your book quite well so you can be hands-free when reading. I’ve had similar things that were a bit lighter in weight, but they were harder to adjust and didn’t hold the book so well, but I wouldn’t describe this holder as heavy. Being wood and metal it’s relatively sustainable, it’s sturdy and I expect it will last well. Good product, recommended, thank you.

I am really pleased with this. How I ever did without something like this defeats me. Beautifully constructed, great price. The matching wooden coaster included in the pack is a lovely touch.

Very good quality, can hold heavy books. Can easily read my Bible from it. The page clips come in very handy and there is plenty of room for adjustments, making reading far more comfortable. Even came with a free coaster as well!

Recent purchase I followed several reviews and I am very satisfied with this product at this stage I have only had it for a few weeks . It looks very nice and appears reasonable well made I'm using sheet music on it at this stage. Hopefully it will support the heavier books fingers crossed.

As the headline will suggest - I am back to review. But not because this product is so superbly fantastically brilliant that I've never made such an excellent purchase before but rather because of a few simple things that have been done well: 1. Portable and lightwight, yet sturdy and robust. This is what I need from a book stand. 2. It has texture and a neatly enscribed logo; it has been well finished and has nice little touchers like the black sillicon-tipped arms and rusty-brass hinges which really holds the design together well. 3. They even included a coaster to match the book stand (or at least I think it is a coaster). Although the coaster doesn't work too great with cold and condesing drinks (the bottom of the cup sticks to the coaster), it is great for hot mugs like tea or coffee, and is an extremely nice gesture from Vigiwood to me as the customer. 4. It is designed well. The centrepiece of the stand flaps down to join between serated cutouts in the bottom plate which hold securely. It also has 8 different angles that one can set a book at so it can accomodate you wherever you may take it. If you take a look at my review history you shall see that I review things that I have genuinely good experiences with and in this case, Vigowood earns the top spot on my most appreciated products list and not because of what the product is but because of the extra thought Vigiwood have given their consumer. I would certainly buy from Vigo again and would recommend the reader of this review to also make the purchase if you are looking to buy a book stand.

I LOVE this book holder! It’s great quality, very well designed, sturdy when in use & folds nice & flat for storage.

Love it! Perfect for large or heavy books such as the deluxe edition of Katabasis where the premium paper needed for the detailed sprayed edges made the book much heavier than normal. I love that it's all wood with no plastic but or metal gears (with the exception of the little arms). It looks stylish and will fit in well with any decor. This book stand is lightweight but sturdy on a lap, which is what I primarily got it for. If you need to move the stand, I do recommend always lifting from the flat part. It's just easiest. The arms to hold the book open are flexible but have enough tension to keep the book in place, and the tips are gentle on the page and won't leave indentations. (If you do find the arms are too tight you can loosen the screws a bit). The adjustable arm in the back is pretty secure and stable as well. They also sent replacement tips for the page arms. Very happy with this! 😊

Der Buchständer ist sehr gut auch für leicht motorisch behinderte Menschen geeignet. Die Buchseiten werden durch die Haltefunktion gut in Position gehalten, lassen sich aber trotzdem einfach umblättern. Auch im Bett ist er gut geeignet. Meine Mutter hatte einen Schlagabfall mit eingeschränkter Bewegung besonders eine Hand. Sie kommt damit sehr gut zurecht und ist froh diesen Buchständer als Lesehilfe zu haben. Außerdem sieht er gut aus und ist leicht in der Anwendung. Ich kann ihn sehr gerne weiter empfehlen.empfehlen.

Je cherchais un support pour les gros livres, pour être confortablement installé. La qualité est au rendez vous, capable de supporter des livres imposant, Dune comme sur la photo. Bloquer les pages n’est plus un problème, une lecture facilité, impeccable.
