What others don't tell you
First, I have used several brands of screen protectors. There are basically two kinds. Ones like this that bond completely to the screen, there are only a few of this type or ones that use adhesive on the edges. Most of them are the second type. The quality of that second type vary greatly. Their customer service policies also vary greatly. Most of them are very hard and difficult to scratch with metal objects like keys, a few use cheaper glass that scratch easily. They vary in thickness, so some crack more easily than others. Some are cut accurately and fit well, while others can interfere with the camera or haveclios that catch on clothing or even skin. But there is one thing they all have in common, they leak moisture. Some will get moisture under the glass just from facial sweat. Some will get moisture if you drop it in a full sink or a swimming pool. ALL of them will flood of you go into the water with them. I fish and go rafting. Every screen protector I have had has leaked if submerged for more than a few seconds. This screen protector, which is bonded to the screen, does not leak, even if I take underwater photos with it. But there are more advantages with this type. If the screen is adhered only on the edges, there is a tiny airgap between the protector and the screen. This makes the screen less sensitive. This may not be a huge issue if you are just tapping, and even swiping will usually work, but if you have a pen, stylus, or finger print reader, it gets worse. Most people eventually do recalibration and adapt themselves to the loss of sent sensitivity. HOWEVER, that tiny gap also creates an impact with the screen and some types of drops will still break the screen. Without exception, I have broken the screen on every phone I have owned over the last 10 years. Some look asted a month, a few lasted a year, but because of my active lifestyle, I have never traded in a smartphone without damage... Until now! The bonding agent on this screen protector remains slightly flexible. I have dropped my Samsung S22 Ultra countless times. The phone is still perfect. The screen protector itself lasted over a year and a half. Eventually it cracked. But bits of the protector remained on the screen and continued to protect it until I was able to replace it. Removing the old glass was simple and I think I may have spent 20 seconds removing all of it. The bonding agent remained on the protector and the phone was spotless. I put a new protector on using the cleaning pads in the kit and no further effort was necessary. Nothing has ever worked as well as this. I can't speak for the Whetstone brand, Wich uses a similar technology as I have never used that one, but thisisthe best I have ever used. The curve is perfect to my phone. The cutouts are also perfect. There is a a fraction of a millimeter margin between the protector and the phone frame. It is very tiny and allows you to attach a case.to your phone. In spite of some comments I have read, you will not notice it when you use the phone and it does nothing to compromise the protection. I would say the gap is about the the thickness of a business card. Once you are using your phone you will not notice it and not a single person who has handled my phone has noticed it. In fact one person after seeing the scratches on my phone case asked why I was not using a screen protector and I had to show them the margin which the had not noticed. Of course everything has a downside and this product is not an exception. That down side is the installation is not as easy or as fast as the other type and one must be careful to follow the instructions carefully. When I received my first kit, which includes two protectors, it was defective. There was not much adhesive is one of the tubes and no matter how long I waited or how I tipped the phone, I could not get coverage. I would estimate that the second tube had only about a third of the adhesive as the first one. On my second attempt, the tray would not release the sliders and when it let go it made a big mess and the bubbles could not be removed. So I had to contact the company. No problem. Perfect customer service and they immediately sent replacement glass and the supplies to install it. I had trepidation but it was unwarranted as the install was a snap. I threw away the old guides as the new ones were smooth and easy to use. Pros: Excellent customer service Nearly impossible to see once installed. Does not affect screen sensitivity. (I did not turn screen sensitivity on nor recalibrate). Will not flood. Superior protection Does not shed glass splinters if broken Cons: Installation required carefully following instructions Written directions could be written better (Definitely watch the video). Installation takes 5 to 10 minutes (Vs others which take 60 seconds) Not the least expensive solution available. So what will my next protector be? Without any doubt, this one again. In my estimation it is worth the few extra minutes and the extra cost.

This product is awesome, great company as well
I've tried many screen protectors over the years, this one is leaps and bounds better than its competitors. I watched the installation video 3x. During the process, I was doing this on my office desk and my cat jumped onto my lap at the worst time, (this 3 legged cat wanted to help) got the UV adhesive everywhere but on the screen. The way you remove the UV adhesive if it gets on the floor, if it dries, is with the UV lamp. But mine got on the floor via a freak event, totally my fault So I tried it again but his time on a granite countertop with my 3 legged buddy on my lanai. 2nd time it went flawless and it came out prefect, I didn't need to recalibrate the fingerprint reader, thanks to the kits installation metal fingerprint dome cover, this kit is well thought out and the mechanism to instal it is simple to use, and idiot proof if you follow the instructions, but not curious cat proof. No bubbles, no flaws, you cannot even discern if it has a tempered glass cover, nor does it compromise sensitivity, the S-pen works in normal and air mode at the same distance as without the screen protector. I asked amFilm if they would allow me to buy two more tubes of UV adhesive for future use since this was a two pack, instead they sent me a new kit, what a great company (and product) PS I needed a quality screen protector, as I just bought a stingray cellphone case, normally I use a Otterbox Defender Pro. While this stingray case is stunning, it offers almost no protection, so this tempered glass screen is needed. My newly adopted 3 legged cat is sorry he screwed up the first go, but cats do what they do.

Works great, looks great, install is tricky...I'll tell you what to watch out for!
Once this product is installed correctly, it looks and works perfectly. I have no bubbles, no dust, and no areas where the protector is not securely adhered to the phone. After a month of heavy use, and a couple of small "oops" events, the screen protector is still tightly adhered and shows no visible scratches. I removed one star because the installation process is a bit tricky. I was glad the package included two protectors since the first was lost learning the "gotchas" of the installation process. So, what went wrong? Slightly different things on each installation attempt. I'll share the experience so you can benefit from my mistakes. First, follow the directions carefully and watch the video. This review is not intended as a replacement for them. FIRST ATTEMPT The biggest problem was that the first protector did not drop easily onto the phone. This one wasn't my fault. There appears to have been a very slight manufacturing defect in the first protector causing it to be too big (almost microscopically) to correctly fit the tray. Next, I should have more carefully leveled the phone. If the bubble is not PERFECTLY centered the adhesive will tend to flow toward the lowest side of the phone. The process is unforgiving. Unlike me, you should take this step VERY seriously. Getting the drops of adhesive to land in the correct locations is also a bit difficult. There is a tendency for the dropper to move off-target slightly when you are unscrewing the cap. This is especially true when the cap is on extra tight. SECOND ATTEMPT This time almost everything went perfectly. However, one of the absorption pads was slightly too large to fit its slot. I was forced to reuse a pad from the first attempt. Also, I was still a bit off target for the adhesive drops. Though, in the end, this didn't seem to matter. WHAT I WISHED I DID WITHOUT removing the adhesive covering, test that your selected protector falls freely into the guides of your tray. If it does not, use the other protector. Check that the absorption pads you have selected both fit easily into the slots on your tray. If one does not, pick another one. Do the above BEFORE you start the installation process. Basically, you're just double-checking the quality of your parts. Hopefully, you'll be lucky, QA will have improved, and it will be unnecessary. Be compulsively careful and accurate when leveling your phone! It really, really matters! While applying the adhesive, hold the applicator in the correct location and try to very slightly loosen the cap without removing it. Basically, just get it started. Assuming the contents did not spill onto your phone, carefully reposition to the correct location and continue loosening the cap until the liquid spills out. I suggest this step because if the cap is extra tight, getting it started will likely cause you to drift off target. FINAL THOUGHTS I hope this helps. Once installed properly, the protector is excellent. Over the past decade or so, I've probably installed about 10 different protectors. Despite being tricky to install, this product produced the best end result I've seen by far!

Not an easy install as advertised!!!
The video shows them installing the screen protector very easily, however, if you are like me and very anal about perfection when it comes to your electronics then you are going to take as much care as possible to install anything onto your electronic device (whatever it may be, in this case it's my Samsung S22 ultra Flagship phone). So for it to still come out incorrect is quite disheartening. When I purchased the screen protector it stated that if I showed proof of purchase then they would send me another screen for free if the install had any bubbles left on the screen. Well the very first one that I installed did exactly that, on the top portion of my screen there was a bubble and even though watchig videos and taking the companies suggestion of giving it 24 hours and the bubbles would work themselves out, it did not. So I was stuck with a awful looking bubble on my phones screen, now for some that may not be a bother, however, for me who loves his electronics and wants perfection out of his devices, whether it may be aesthetically or not, that is far from what came out. I told myself that this may have been my fault that it came out the way I did it so I did not write a review as I am now, instead I just followed the companies suggestion of registering the product and stating what had happened and that they would send out an extra glass replacement. Well I did that and I NEVER received the extra glass. Well months went by up until last week when due to me dropping my phone I had to change out the glass. I was excited because I had told myself that this time I would be able to make it perfect (Note: The first install wouldn't allow the fingerprint sensor to work, and I placed the weight on there as the company video showed). Videos I watched showed that the screen removal was very very easy, like eating a piece of cake. Well, what the videos don't show you is a screen protector that needs to be replaced due to breaks in the glass. God forbid if that is the reason why you have to replace the screen for, because let me tell you, it was a complete nightmare. It literally took 4 different 2 hour sessions, 100% alcohol, gloves (to keep from little broken glass pieces going underneath your nails) and a lot of patience to remove the original screen which hadn't even been smashed into pieces. Simply the top right corner had cracked a bit. So now for install 2, I watch the video again, I even went as far as doing this after a hot shower so that there wouldn't be any LINT, DUST OR ANY OTHER DEBRIS in the air. I followed the instructions EXACTLY! I was excited to place the new screen onto there, I saw visions of a smooth and beautiful screen WITH a finger print sensor that would work this time around! So I began my task at hand, *Warning* Graphic Content Warning, proceed at your own risk. I went as far as not wearing any clothes just to make sure Dust or lint would not come off of me onto the screen, then I began the lengthy process of applying the glass screen protector onto my S22 Ultra (The process probably takes a lot less time to install if you're not a perfectionist like me) I followed the instructions exactly as they do it. I watched the video simultaneously and was pausing the video as I needed during each step. So once again I get to the portion where I need to remove the tabs from the top and bottom slowly to allow for the glass to sit onto the screen, well just like the time before I removed the tabs slowly and as the screen sits onto the main S22 Ultras screen and you see the glue begin to spread and the glass sucks onto the main glass, suddenly at the middle of the phone and another off to the right, one below that one and to the left 3 total bubbles form. Now keep in mind that these bubbles are NOT at the same place the last one was. So all in all I have to say this product does not apply easily as they state and it surely does not remove easily (however, I'm not sure if they made that statement or not. The removal is my personal opinion.). Also, when I applied the second screen the phone dropped from a height of about one and a half feet ( I was sitting down, leaned forward on a lazy-boy playing a game and I dropped the phone, No more then a 2 foot drop, and the second time it cracked at the top right corner. Oh and I have a Speck case that is drop tested). I hope this review will get the attention amfm and they will make this right with me, as I never received the initial screen that I sent in for. I followed there instructions as well, yet nothing. I will update the comment when and If they reach out to me. Would I recommend this product to friends or anyone for that matter, at the moment NO! Am I happy with the product I spent 40 dollars on, NO! It's all in their hands from here on out. Thank you

Worth the extra money
TLDR: Stop shopping around - this is the protector you should get for your S22 Ultra (my wife has the S22 version and it's also great). UPDATE: After 6 months of having this installed I just accidentally tested this protector by dropping it on pavement screen first. The screen protector was so badly damaged I thought for sure my phone screen was toast. But I was wrong! My phone is perfectly fine. Combine that level of protection with the fact that after all these months there was no air bubbles or peeling - this is definitely the best screen protector I've ever seen. I have used several different types of screen protectors over the years. But lately they have just been awful. The last one I bought for my Note 20 was so bad I sent it back. Too bad too because I dropped my phone a week later, which is how I ended up with the S22 Ultra. This protector exceeds in all the important ways: successful installation, fingerprint reader compliant, and protection. First, the installation is not quick. Set aside 15 minutes. It's okay though - take your time and it's hard to screw it up. No air bubbles to iron out. No corner that's not flush. None of that. The guide they provide to facilitate installation makes this install lengthy, but in the end, you have a screen protector that fits PERFECTLY! Second, the installation actually takes the fingerprint reader into account. There's no weird circle or air gaps. I did have to reprogram my prints. But after doing that, the reader works just as well now as it did pre-install. Finally, this provides a nice shell of protection and is secure around the edges. I'm not going to drop my phone just to test this, but so far, no scratches and I feel better knowing my screen is safer now than before. I have tried at least 5 different types of screen protectors over the last 2 years (between my phone, my work phone, and my wife's phone) and these are so much better than the competition I feel like they should be in a different product category. Nothing else even comes close.

READ ME BEFORE BUYING!!!!
Hopefully you read the reviews before you buy this. Putting on these hard protectors always makes me feel like I'm doing surgery. Why does it have to be so complicated!!!! First, if you buy this, look at the UV light before doing anything!!!! Plug it in and make sure it works!!!!!!! If it is missing the slide button like mine did in the image, then return it! If you didn't see this review and you already have the glue on (like I did) then skip down to the bottom of this review. I'll tell you how to get it working. The kit - It has everything you need except for a USB-C cable. Make sure you have one close by and it is long enough to reach your flat surface. The instructions are OK, but need some more detail. Put a paper towel under the phone before the glue. There was too much and it got on my table underneath. On that note, I put tape on my ports and buttons because of the glue run over. Might save you some headache. Hate to see what would happen if it got in your USB-C port. If you look at of my images, the tabs slide in the grooves and the arrow on the tab is facing up. Run them back and forth before putting on the glue. Some small plastic debris flakes off. Use the sticker to remove them. Important - when you empty the glue on the phone, keep it very close to the phone so air bubbles don't happen in the glue. Also, inspect the glue closely. If you see any dark specs in them, try to use a qtip to remove them. They are pieces of plastic from the glue vile. If you leave them you will see them under the screen. Pull the tabs slowly and evenly at the same time. Watch to make sure the glue spreads to all areas. If you see air bubbles anywhere, let it sit awhile. Sometimes they will move away. If you still have air bubbles, do not use the UV light yet. If you have to lightly press on the protector then you should. If you still have air bubbles, you may have to lift it or use the 2nd kit. After I used the UV light the screen worked perfect with no touch sensitivity issues. My finger prints worked just as well as it did without it. I did not turn on touch sensitivity in options. HOW TO MAKE THE UV LIGHT WORK WITHOUT A SLIDE SWITCH - Like a few other reviewers, I was sitting there with the glue on my phone and no switch on my UV light. I took a pair of pliers and found the contact on the electrical board that lit up the light. I held it with the pliers until the UV light set the glue. You can see in the pics that I damaged the plastic squeezing the contact with the pliers. Hope this helps. It's a good protector with poor execution on the UV light and instructions.

Great screen protector; challenging install; great customer service!
When I first got my S22 Ultra I tried a case with a built in screen protector that was supposed to do well with the fingerprint reader. In short, it didn't. So I looked for something better. The amFilm 3D tempered glass screen protector is fantastic. It fits the screen better than a glove, and the fingerprint reader is almost as reliable as no protector at all with only the occasional mis-read. That being said, I had some issues with the install which led to me contacting Support. I received a second Protector set (new everything) after filing a very simple request which seemed quite reasonable, and shipping was quick. The ribs on the plastic installer guide were just a hair to fat, so the protector couldn't smoothly fall as expected. I didn't realize this the first time until after I had the glue on the phone leading to a bit of a mess. So here's my advice for anyone using this protector: before doing anything else check to make sure that the glass smoothly falls onto the phone. If it doesn't, simply sand the edges of the guides until the glass falls smoothly. One other thing to know is that there's just a touch of play when installing the glass. I'm right handed and found that cheating the glass to the up and left of the phone was really uncomfortable, so when I re-installed the protector I carefully nudged it down and to the right. If you want to do the same then leveling is critical, and you might even want to ensure the phone is slightly off-level in the desired direction. Knowing all of this I would highly recommend this screen protector to anyone.

Durable and long lasting (seriously)
Application instructions are easy to follow and once complete the protector is practically invisible on my screen. No bubbles or peeling and I have had it on for months now. Touch sensitivity on my screen is great. I drop my phone all the time and there's barely any evidence on the protector. One thing of note is that sometime after I put it on I was trying to scrape some crumbs/dust out from the creases of my case by the edge of my screen and my nail accidentally slipped and pulled up a tiny bit of the upper corner of the protector, which I was unable to stick back on because the sealant had already been separated. But what I can say from this mishap is that the protector leaves no residue on the screen at all as the glue sort of becomes like a gel once it's dried. Also, having cut off the piece of the corner that was peeled off so that it wouldn't catch on anything and peel further, that corner has not peeled back further at all, even though it has been compromised. So even if a piece gets peeled off, the rest of the protector will stay on just fine, and I think that speaks to the quality of the glue and material. I haven't had to replace this one with the second one they provide in the box, and honestly I'm not sure if I ever will. EDIT Nov 26 2023 (original review in Jan 2023): I still have not replaced it, peeled corner and all it is still on my phone. I've dropped and scratched up my phone throughout this time and there is one noticeable scratch and 2 or 3 more subtle ones, as well as a second area where I dropped it and the protector cracked and chipped off a tiny bit on the side of the phone as it collided with stuff on the way down, but not enough to bother me to replace it. I mean seriously this protector is a TANK.
