I recently bought this large moka pot (double espresso size), and I’m really pleased with it. It makes a rich, tasty coffee very quickly, and the quality of the brew is excellent. The pot itself looks beautiful and quite aesthetic, which I really like. It also feels very stable on the stove, so it’s comfortable and safe to use. Overall, it’s efficient, well-designed, and a pleasure to use every morning. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I’ve been using the Bialetti Venus for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The stainless steel build feels durable and looks elegant on my stove. Functionally, it’s straightforward—just fill, heat, and enjoy. It produces rich, smooth coffee with excellent crema and a bold taste that rivals my espresso machine. The coffee comes out piping hot every time, and the handle stays cool enough to pour easily. Cleaning is simple too. If you want a no-fuss, high-quality brew with a modern aesthetic, this is it. Highly recommend!

I had a well known brand basic electric espresso maker which I used for years but it started playing up - I bought a new one, same issues occurred. I now have a gas stove and decided to try one of these little stove top coffee makers instead. At a fraction of the price of my electric espresso maker, I wasn’t sure it would do the job - how wrong, it makes fabulous coffee. I got the 6 espresso cup size and that with milk added makes a huge mug of coffee, probably two normal size mugs. I followed the instructions- did three coffees and threw away before making the first coffee to drink. You fill the water below the seal, add coffee put together and put on stove using a modest heat - you don’t want the flames to extend beyond the base. It doesn’t take long before you hear it gurgle and coffee is brewed. It pours nicely and the handle isn’t hot - probably helped by not having the flames beyond the base. The instructions advise you to replace the seal every year if it doesn’t need replacing before then. I have made a note in my calendar. I would agree with another reviewer a fill line inside for the water would be handy but minor niggle. It’s a very smart machine that’s easy to clean. Best thing though is definitely the fab coffee. I’m going to look at getting the bigger size for when I have guests.

Very solid coffee maker, quality seemingly very good. Heats up quickly on my ceramic hob but yet to use it on my induction hob being delivered shortly.

You can tell the quality just by picking it up, compared to other stainless steel moka pots. The threads screw together nicely and the basket fits perfectly. As someone that drinks a lot of coffee, this is the perfect size for me. I use a 12oz/350ml mug and can make a good strong americano or long black style drink. The stainless steel ones are much more durable as well, as you can use them on all stove types and wash them with soap and not have to worry about drying it after each use.

Very nicely built. Lid and handle are a bit less sturdy, but as long as you don't tighten the unit by holding the handle you'll be fine. The coffee is strong and has more body than filtre machine coffee. The 10 cup unit easily fits on the medium hob on a generic gas stove, without the flame going up on the sides. Do not tamp the coffee and do not grind too fine to avoid over-pressure.

Good quality makes great coffee. Would buy again as a gift.

Bought for my husband who loves a “proper cup of coffee”. A stainless steel, quality product — this will last for years if it’s properly looked after. We have an induction hob and it works really well. We followed Bialetti’s instructions and found it easy to use, easy to clean and overall a great coffee pot producing a great cup of coffee.

I have been searching for a Bialetti 10-cup stainless steel Espresso/CoffeeMaker for months. Found it on Amazon, but it had to come from Italy. Online searches for USA stores showed out of stock for the few that carried the item. It took 5 weeks to get the coffeemaker, but the wait was worth it. Great Italian quality - not made in China or India. Originally I had looked for the Musa style, but only could find the Venus style and I'm glad now that I have it. It has a wider base so I can turn the flame up a little more and the espresso is done sooner. The espresso tastes great and it makes enough (16 oz) for my husband and I to have a couple cups each on the weekend. When the package arrived, it looked like it had taken a beating. The espresso box was not in another box, but the seller had taped plastic 6" squares together (looked like large CD plastic cases) and covered them in brown paper and lots of tape. Luckily, the espresso maker came through without a scratch. I did not want to learn how to return items to Italy!

TLDR: Works great, tastes good, easy to use and enjoyable experience for me and guests. Great little coffee maker. I am very happy with it. Even a family member comes to visit often now just to have some coffee. They never did that before tasting this coffee. I get a call or text almost daily now from them asking if they can come over for a cup of coffee. They have a normal coffee pot at home and sometimes they would go to buy a cup of coffee. Now, they just want this. I admit, I enjoy the company. I was going to buy them one, but decided I like having guests for coffee. :) The instructions are clear and easy to understand. It is easy to use and is fun to make. I use it on my induction cooktop and it is very fast to brew. It feels sturdy and durable. The lid on top covers just fine. This is a small coffee maker and I can get about 4 espresso cups or one larger cup (not to the brim of either cup size if we are counting # of cups). I grind beans fresh for each time I brew. I use a small manual grinder and it is perfect. The basket for the ground coffee holds about 2 TBSP. I use the basket (if it is dry) to scoop up beans and put in the grinder. If the basket is wet, I use a measuring spoon. I have made lots of coffee with it since it arrived and got the hang of it quickly. I am sensitive to smells and it is noticeable to me when I left it on the stove a tad too long. The smell changes and you might notice it too. That was helpful to learn the moment to remove from the heat. Be sure to read the instructions that come with it if you are new to this like me.

Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, das Edelstahl-Design wirkt modern und zeitlos zugleich und passt perfekt in meine Küche. Besonders gefällt mir, dass sie für Induktionsherde geeignet ist – das war für mich ein entscheidender Kaufgrund. Der Espresso gelingt hervorragend: vollmundig, aromatisch und mit einer schönen Crema (bei guter Bohne natürlich 😉). Die Kanne ist einfach zu handhaben, lässt sich leicht reinigen und macht insgesamt einen sehr robusten Eindruck. Nur Handwäsche empfohlen. Auch die Hitzeverteilung funktioniert auf meinem Induktionsfeld einwandfrei, der Kaffee ist in wenigen Minuten fertig. Kein Vergleich zu vielen günstigen Alternativen – hier merkt man die typische Bialetti-Qualität.

Excelente cafetera. Con buen café para cafeteras italianas saca un café estupendo.
