ASUS ZenScreen MB166C Portable USB Monitor- 15.6 inch, Full HD, IPS, USB Type-C, Flicker Free, Blue Light Filter, Anti-glare surface

Excellent as an extra monitor without needing lots of space. Pretty much plug and play - just make sure your USB C laptop port is capable of supplying both power and graphics (many aren’t) - this monitor is entirely reliant on USB C - no other power or connectivity. Display quality is bright and vibrant. Portable mini stand is adequate without being brilliant or perfect.

Picture quality on this is great for a 1080p monitor, no complaints really about the product itself - I'm using it with macOS so just be aware that the auto-rotate functionality does not work (you have to configure this yourself in the macOS display settings). However, the stand leaves a bit to be desired. The solution to keep the monitor upright is to fold the carry case like a tablet folio, with the plastic housing of the monitor being held in place with a slightly raised piece of plastic on the case. The problem is that it's so shallow that the monitor slips over it with any slight movement on the table, causing it to fall and potentially break. My solution was to take a couple of matches, remove the strike heads and stuff them into the pocket underneath the raised case plastic. This creates a far superior catch to hold the monitor in place. But this is such a terrible design flaw that it lets the product down as a whole, sadly.

This screen has been awesome for working on the go. Whether I am on the train or in a hotel room having a second screen that is light and easy to set up is a game changer for productivity. Plugs into my MacBook air via usb c. The case converts onto a stand for the screen which is really useful. Looking around at the other options I feel this is a no brainer, especially for the price. Its powered through your laptop power via the usbc cable so no extra cables. I was curious if it would work as an external screen for the Switch. But it doesn't work. If that is something you are looking for this is not it.

This is a nice lightweight compact monitor. Easily fits in most laptop rucksacks with your laptop etc. so great form factor. I was looking forward to using it. It plugged in and worked straight away no problems with my Surface Pro Laptop. However in less than 2 hours my laptop crashed for the first time ever. It had massively overheated. As the monitor has no option for a separate power input it is going back. The monitor just has the single USB C so has to draw power and signal from that. Searching online others have also had the overheating issue. Note I was just doing emails nothing taxing.

This is a bloody good bit of kit. I had one of these before, one of the £80 Chinese ones from a brand that I've never heard of. This one leaves them standing. It was well packaged, super nice design, slim, easy to operate and as bright and clear as my laptop. Plug and play and I'm up and running. No regrets here.

Good monitor portable but had issue with compatibility as not all laptops have a compatible usb and the drivers would not open to install from asus website . Got it sorted in the end by changing the laptop

This was bought as a present, the recipient is very pleased and says it works well. the stand is a little fiddly but does work, you just been to take some care in making sure it is correctly set. As a monitor it works well and gives a good clear, grip display.

Isn't a great item, but it is as described. The colors are visibly desaturated but it will do for a portable second monitor.

Great little screen clear bright works great. But you will need to buy an external stand the case doesn’t work great. The screen does eat your laptop battery when connected.

Monitor funktioniert super in Kombination mit meinem 14,6 Zoll Laptop-Monitor. Habe ihn zusammen mit der LISEN portablen Monitorhalterung bestellt. Damit passt er ideal hinter das Laptop und beide Monitore stehen dann übereinander. Sehr bequem, um mehrere Stunden daran zu arbeiten.

Monitor eccezionale: non serve un alimentatore (si alimenta attraverso il cavo usb-c/usb-c in dotazione che “trasporta” il segnale video e l’alimentazione), dotato di custodia che funge anche da supporto regolabile in 2 posizioni, luminosità ottima e visibilità uguale a quello del Samsung Book a cui lo collego. È davvero un ottimo schermo con cui riesco a lavorare (Word, Excel, posta elettronica, ecc.) al doppio della velocità rispetto all’utilizzo di un solo schermo. L’unica accortezza (dato che l’alimentazione avviene tramite il notebook a cui è collegato) è quella di mantenere il notebook connesso alla rete o a un powerbank per evitare che il notebook si scarichi più velocemente del solito.
