Opening a compact that promises a flawless finish feels like opening a treasure chest, especially for someone who normally struggles with liquid foundations. This product has truly been a game changer for my routine. The included sponge applicator is a nifty touch, making it super convenient to tuck into my briefcase for those rushed mornings when my three-year-old is particularly energetic. I was initially skeptical about a powdered foundation, but the smooth texture and even coverage quickly won me over. Applying it with a large brush gives a really natural finish, although I've found it a bit on the fragile side – one unfortunate drop and I had quite the mess to clean up. So, while it's fantastic for home use, it's best left off the travel list unless securely packed. I've tried shades from Cashmere to True Beige, and the colour match is quite impressive, perfectly blending with my skin tone. This foundation might need a primer underneath to avoid feeling too dry, but once set, it stays put all day. Overall, an excellent choice for anyone prioritising convenience and a polished look.

I've not used a foundation powder combo before but I wish I had because this product is brilliant. It goes on smoothly and the finish is near pristine. It doesn't last all day but I'd say I get 4 hours out of it before I need to do some touching up. You don't get any of that unsightly smudging that you get with some foundation, the coverage is lovely and even. I've got mid forties skin and I'll definitely stick with this in the future because it really is a wonder product.

I am extremely disappointed with this compact powder. From the moment I purchased it, it began to fall apart. It is anything but compact! The powder crumbled almost immediately and spread everywhere, creating a mess every time I tried to use it. To make matters worse, when you apply it, the results are terrible. It leaves noticeable marks on your face and if you wear glasses, the powder gathers and leaves unsightly patches where your glasses rest. It doesn't blend well at all and just looks awful. I cannot understand how this product has received such good reviews. It is a complete waste of money and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find a better alternative.

This powder foundation gives a lovely finish and goes on very quickly. It's become my daily go to. It's pretty lightweight, though: there isn't much coverage of blemishes and freckles etc. The biggest flaw, though, is that the formula is prone to crumbling in the compact; I've had a 'mare getting stains out of my carpet! It's still in my daily routine but I really hope they improve the formula for better coverage and fewer crumbles. Edit: 6 months later and the last fifth of the compact is unusable because it's completely broken apart despite very careful storage. It's a real shame as I really like this overall, but am very wary of buying it again. The current formulation isn't great value for money, and creates such a mess.
