I purchased this item for my guinea pig and found it was way too small for her. But it is a darling little wooden house fit for a family of hamsters. The wood and construction is a very good quality.

I purchased 3 of these for my guinea pigs and before I even used then, I was displeased with the way they are assembled. They are slotted so the wood slides into the other piece. A few problems occurred, the slots were slightly off, very fragile, and they were in opposite directions-i.e. they would come apart when picked up if not done with extreme care. I wood glued one, still not feeling that they were secure enough. More over, none of my guinea pigs would fit through any of the openings. I sent them back for a refund and purchased a different one (x3) that is slotted but all in the same direction so when picked up, it does not fall apart.

This is a beautiful item, unfortunately, it is NOT suitable for guinea pigs - it is too small (and it takes up a lot of room in their cage). They have to climb over one another to get out if they are both in there (so the roof is often not on properly). So many others posted it was too small for guinea pigs, we just didn't think to read the reviews first.

We already have the one room hut which is perfect for our guinea pigs (the wood is super flimsy and keeps breaking at the joints but is otherwise great size), but the multi-room hut rooms are far too small to fit even one piggie. The doors are perfectly fine but once you add the partitions, there's no way for them to fit inside. However, without the partition there is nothing preventing the roof from falling in on top of our fur potatoes. So while this is probably perfect for gerbil or hamster, do NOT expect a guinea pig to be able to use it, unless it's a really small one.

We are using this for our pygmy hedgehog, because they love dark and small spaces to hide in during the day. We had to cover the top hole, but recognized that we'd need to when we bought it. She actually loves it and goes in and out at night, like it's a little play area. She chose one cubby for her room. We think it's great that it has a 3-room structure. Super duper easy to assemble. Awesome that it has no extra parts, paper or anything. Comes in a small, economical box with directions (barely even need them) printed right on the box. Best habitat we've ever purchased.

The pieces were made backwards or just totally wrong and I was unable to put it together. Two sides were too long and two other sides were too short. The roof wouldn’t fit at all. I will be returning this product and not purchasing again.

Was easy to put together and appears to be good quality. It was too small for our adult Guinea pigs so we had to return it. Otherwise we would have kept it.

This is marketed for Guinea pigs but it’s honestly a little too small for full sized adult piggies. My boys are adults and there really isn’t much room for them in this hide. I also didn’t love that this puzzles together so loose that it’s hard to move it when you do a cage clean or a rearrange.

This is a lovely hide for my Syrian hamster. I would say due to the size it would be unsuitable for a Guinea pig.

Advertised as suitable for Guinea pigs but far too small. The pictures show it with Guinea pigs but don't be fooled. Wasted my money. Will know better next time :(

It was well made, but too small for my adult guinea pigs. It looked big enough, but the sections on the inside were too small and they have refused to use it unfortunately. It maybe ok for young guineas

Too small for adult Guinea pigs. This item is probably best for smaller rodents. The item is quite flimsy too. You have to be careful when moving it as it will suddenly collapse. It looks good as a product and quality is what it is, but could be better. They should really specify which pets this is best suited for. Unfortunately I'll have to return it.
