Spalding Women's Ankle Legging

Fraud. Very disappointed. The material composition is not as described. It only contains 58% cotton (Amazon description says it has 90+% cotton and claims it to be a cotton legging) and thus not as comfortable as I expected.

Love it! It is super comfortable! I'm 5'6, 135-140lbs. I got size small. Fits very well. A bit skin tight but I'm ok with that. I would order another set of more. I would probably try size M next time since it's free return.

Due to the pandemic, I'm on the hunt for comfortable leggings to wear around the house. I ordered 5 pairs on Amazon. All but these are being returned. My main complaint is that they don't have pockets!These leggings are a true mid-rise. Exactly what I was looking for. Despite being leggings with an elastic waist, they did not give me a muffin top. I ordered a size small. For reference, I'm 5'4", between 115 and 120. I'm also a 38 year old mother of 4 and while I'm on the thinner side, I'm not in the best shape. These leggings didn't make me feel self-conscious like almost all leggings make me feel.The material is thicker and does not show the cellulite on the back of my thighs (yay!). They are cotton and while I do like them, I know that they will pick up lint like crazy and I expect that they will fade quickly as well. That said, I bougth them to wear around my house, so those things won't bother me. Fit is more important. After trying on 4 leggings that made me feel like I was wearing compression tights, these felt perfect.I like to work out, but in shorts, so when I ordered these leggings, I didn't do it with the intention of exercising in them. They aren't compression at all and being made of cotton, I'd imagine they'd show sweat pretty easily.I'd still recommend them because they are really comfy! I gave them 4 stars due to the lack of pockets.

Finding a good pair of legging that are comfortable enough to wear all day has been surprisingly difficult. Didn't expect much when I ordered these but was pleasantly surprised! I'm 5'2, around 125 lbs and waist is 29", hips are 40". I ordered a size small in black and it fits perfectly. The waistband is very stretchy and comfortable, no digging in (that's a typical issue for me with waistbands) - the length is perfect, no bunching up (another common issue I have with leggings). The only problem I found with these, and the reason I took off a star is the fact that they are in fact see through. Mostly when I bend over, but definitely see-through. Because of that I only wear them with tunic tops and not for exercising. They are great for lounging around. Despite that, I recommend them.

I've owned a pair of Spalding capri leggings for a long time, and they have shown no signs of wear even after many washes. So I finally bought myself a pair of full length leggings from Spalding, and they are just as great! I got them in the gray color for $14.99! Super soft, not thin, perfect length. The waist comes up to about an inch under my belly button, so not nearly high waisted. I wouldn't wear these to workout since the fabric is a cotton blend not nylon blend, but you totally could. I bought these for everyday wear.Size guideline: I'm a size small at 5'3" and 115 pounds.

For reference, I always need the petite or short length in pants, unless I'm specifically only wearing those pants with heels. In jeans and dress pants I'm usually wearing a size 4 or 6 short/petite, with an inseam approx 29-30" depending on the brand. In leggings I'm typically comfortable wearing a size small.These Spalding ankle leggings fit me perfectly in size small. Because my legs are so short, I can tug them down to hit a bit lower on the ankle than where it shows in the product picture if I want to, but their natural fit when I pull them on is hitting exactly at my ankle bone. I was shocked because some of the reviews from taller ladies seem to indicate that these also fit their leg length.The waist band does not dig. I picked these leggings originally because it was the only pair I found in this price point with a wide, flat waistband. When I first received them, I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting the entire waistband, from the top of the legging to the seam, to be one solid elasticized piece. Instead, there is a 1/2" piece of elastic sewn in at the very top of that wide waistband. My experience in the past has been very disappointing with other inexpensive leggings that had the small elastic, but I have not had a pair that also had the wide waistband fabric piece like these do. On trying these on around the house for a bit, I found that the elastic does not roll or budge in any way, so that wide waistband easily stays laying flat. I decided to keep them since they were so inexpensive, and figured I could just wear them lounging around the house if I ended up hating them (luckily I ended up loving them). They do not stretch out during the day at all. The material is soft.I waited a while before I wrote this review because I wanted to see how these would handle being machine washed & dried. They're cotton so I was a bit worried about shrinking and pilling but I have two pairs (one charcoal, one black) and I've washed them both 5 or 6 times so far without any issues. (It's not been that long since I got these but I've been wearing them a lot). I wash on delicate, cold water, and dry in the dryer on delicate, low heat. So far they have not lost any of their elasticity at all and there's no pilling at all, not even between the thighs. I am curious to see how they hold up over a longer period of time.I do not wear these to work out because I personally don't like to work out in cotton clothing. I am willing to pay a lot more for performance leggings with a higher percentage of poly in the fabric blend for working out, as I find that my sensitive skin prefers wicking materials, and because I don't like working out with obvious sweat showing through my clothes. This is not at all a disappointment to me. Since the cotton/poly blend percentage is right in the product description I knew that these were not for the gym (for me). At this price point I don't think you can get a true performance wicking legging (if you know of one, please let me know!!!). These are fine for me for activities like long walks and light yoga, but not HIIT or running.I've worn them to go out a few times with a tunic and ankle boots, with knee high boots and a sweater, out for date night with heels and a strappy tank top, and of course, lounging around the house. I am very pleased with these leggings overall, and I find myself reaching for them constantly - I'm going to buy a couple more pairs while I'm here!

Not my favorite, I much prefer Danskin (same price, better quality). These stretch out a good amount throughout the day or workout, they are also transparent when bending over. Length is great, to ankles as advertised. The waistband is wide but it only contains a 1/4 in of elastic in the top portion, so I do find I am pulling these up frequently. The fit is a tad large, I went with a medium over a small to give some room for shrinkage but I wish I had gone with a small. I am 5'6.5 - 150lbs. I wouldn't buy again.

These were the best leggings. I've been wearing them for years, and still have four old pairs -- so it's not hard to see how much they've changed and how poor the quality is now. My old pairs (circa 2016 and earlier) are thick soft cotton, completely pill-less, fit like a glove, impervious to pet hair, come out of the wash like new. The new pair (2018) are thinner with a looser weave that makes them see-through, already pilling, too loose in the ankles, stretch out after wearing to the point they don't stay up, and attract lint and pet hair. I'm extremely disappointed. These used to be the perfect leggings.

This is the 3rd pair of leggings I have bought from Spalding on amazon and all three are great! They fit well. They don't stretch out and become loose after a few washes and wears. And they have a band at the top that make the waist fit very nicely, staying up and smoothing the area ever so slightly. I have tried lots of leggings and jeggings and these are by far the best looking, feeling, and longest lasting I have owned.

not sure why the black legging was short, see thru thin material while the blue was perfect. Returned it. maybe manufacturer issues.the company contacted me to take the size above Meudim, the problem is that I took the small bc of my butt , my waist is a XS.I tried the size Meduim and it is loose. Most time I had to sew the waist of my legging, but I don't want to do it anymore.Too bad I love the Blue one, though it is just right a tiny bit above my ankle it is still ok. And not see thru! too bad!Nice product and nice customer service!

Great leggings, I’m size 12 with long muscular legs and these fit perfect, ordered size large. If you like a really tight fit size down 1 size, but fit is good and my butt looks great! Can’t see through the material and they hide panty lines fairly well. Recommend the boot cut pant as well.

Beware: THIN, SEE-THROUGH.I don't understand the point of manufacturing workout leggings to be so thin you can see right through them. If you buy these, just prepare to wear really long shirts with them.Pro:Comfortable for around the house.
