Amazing little rc toy
This thing is great to be honest. My wife and I saw this and just had to have it. Easy setup and startup with simple controls that'll be just fine for everyone to understand and maneuver around with. The general quality of the videos and pictures are quite impressive. It moves just fine on carpet, I have shag style carpet and I was a little concerned about it moving around but it works just fine, just a little wobbley. Also doesn't like to go on rugs but if you turn the speed up and head straight for the rug, it typically works. The cats also go absolutely crazy over the little rubber/silicone feathers so beware of them tipping ebo over.

Nice but can be improved
At first I had issues with EBO going back to its charging dock. After the timed automatic play time EBO would get lost and the battery would drain. Then I wouldn’t be able to drop into the camera and check on my cat or the next play session couldn’t happen. I gave it a good clean and now there is no issue. Also placed it in a different location. The E Pet functions needs more work. My cat is more interested in EBO when I’m controlling it.

Needs much more work
I've had this for over a year now and waited to see how it performed. It needs much more work. Many of the features it claims to have do not function properly. When the battery is low, it does NOT go home to recharge, it drives itself around searching for the base but is never able to find it, even when you put it right in front of it. It just keeps wandering until it's completely dead. If you have a change in floors (my living room is carpet but the kitchen is tile) it CAN NOT get back to the carpet. Once it goes over the little transition strip, it can't get back up, even though it's only millimeters high. Then it's just stuck in the kitchen all day, well until it dies in a quick 3-5 hrs. A few months after purchasing my charging base stopped working, they did eventually send me a new product but they made me go back and forth with technical support for at least a week before they would send anything. So most of the time I leave it on the charging base because once you leave the base, it can't get back unless you're home to physically put it back yourself. It's pretty much a stationary camera at this point which defeats the purpose of why I ordered it to be able to watch over my kitties while I'm at work. When set up for "security" to send a notification if it senses human movement, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't so that's not reliable either. Fast forward a little over a year and now it has stopped connecting to my wifi. I have reset it and done a whole factory reboot..... nothing. It binds to the wifi but won't actually connect. Just stopped working. When it won't connect, you can't use any function, you can't even see your saved photos and videos anymore, they're just gone. Again reached out to them and "technical support" (I use that term loosely) has gone back and forth with me for over a week sending me 1 response email per day and they just keep repeating the same thing over and over. Tell me to reboot and try to reconnect and try another network.... of which I have done all those multiple times and told them that but they just keep sending the same email response back. It's frustrating and their support is in Japan so big time difference. Just found out the warranty was only for 1 year so I'm out of "free warranty period" as they called it. I basically paid $225 for a stationary camera that worked for a little over 1 year.... oh that had a laser pointer🙄. Waste of money. Just ordered 3 360° cameras for each room for $20 each, that appear to have way better quality video and pics. Don't bother until they put more effort into fixing the features to actually work.

Great idea, but not there yet - detailed review
I bought this to keep an eye on my bunny. It's a cool idea, but in execution there's a few things that could be MUCH better. PROS: - It has really good video quality, especially at the highest setting - It's pretty mobile, and can be maneuvered - Two way microphone works great CONS: - The so called AI-tracking is non-existent, mine doesn't seem to detect humans or pets, and if it does, it doesn't really do anything about it - The unit has a hard time traversing over high differences (carpet to hardwood, for example). It can go down but it can't go up in height, even an inch - It almost never returns to the charging dock to recharge - it gets stuck somewhere and runs out of battery. - Speaking of, battery life is low - maybe 4-5 hours at most - It has this weird "feature" where if you navigate to a location and leave it alone and exit out of the app, it just starts roaming randomly a few minutes later. I've looked through all the settings and can't figure out how to turn it off or turn on stationary mode, including the switch at the bottom of the unit. More than once I've been woken up in the middle of the night to the noises of it bumping into chairs and walls. There should be a clear setting where you can set it to stationary or roaming, in the app itself. There isn't. - PRIVACY CONCERN! Even when you set it to sleep in the app, when it's on the charging dock, it will randomly switch on and "unsleep" itself - Crashes into everything when it's roaming - Settings in the app are not clear - a bit of mistranslation I think I think if it was $50, the above would be fine, but for $200 I was expecting a better user experience than this. It's not as convenient as it could be, which is a shame, because as I said, video quality is good.

Fun plaything
Great little gadget except too easily knocked over and I fear the rubber tracks are not going to last for my dog likes to pick it up by these.

My Parents are Terrified (Goal Achieved!)
Make sure to check off your list before purchasing this: -Strong WiFi coverage throughout the house -Respect for our up-and-coming Ai overlords -Parents who hate Ai -A free evening where you can chase the cat around from anywhere in the world To go with my "everything is spherical" theme for my immediate family's Christmas presents this year (yes really) I decided to help fortify their growing list of gadgets that help monitor the house (and are "evil"). Pros: -Monitor from anywhere in the world (just as long as you have a connection) -Small enough to go under most of our furniture -Adorable as can be -Smart patrolling for when my parents are away -You can share the monitoring access with someone else who has the app (I haven't dared asked for co-parenting on the Ebo yet, but I noticed it in set-up!) -Peace of mind when traveling (some of the stationary cameras are unable to provide a real "I wish I could walk around my house and see if there's water damage or something" feel, but this does!) -Very responsive (based on your internet speed), low latency (when you push a button and it does that action in real time) for us! Cons: -Make sure you have consistent WiFi coverage (we have a Google Mesh which provides very comprehensive coverage for us!) -Your parents will promise to get you coal for next year -Will surprise you while you're eating lasagna for dinner on the kitchen island and your parents decide to sneak up on you while they're out
