Great Little Machine
This makes fantastic espresso. We grind our beans right before pulling the espresso shots. The steam milk function works perfectly, but it is REALLY loud. I’m finding it’s harder to steam the milk than I thought - I had to watch a couple YouTube videos to learn how. The machine requires periodic descaling, so be sure to get some descaling packets. You’ll also want to hang on to the instructions as adjusting the temperature and other features is not intuitive. If you have issues with the flavor of the coffee, as one reviewer did (and your coffee is fresh & high quality) do a little research on changing the water temperature depending on the roast (light/dark) of the coffee. We’ve had our machine for about 1 1/2 years and it works as well as it did the day we bought it. It doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. Glad we switched our Kerig for this!

Love it! Great coffee.
Love it! The coffee tastes excellent, and the machine is so fast! Easy to use. Just follow carefully the instructions before the first use. You need to clean it by running a cycle 5-7 times. I bought two. One of them signals it's ready when the StandBy light is steady, and the other one, when the Standby light is flashing. The rest is a breeze. Also watch that the level of water is as indicated, between the minimum and maximum levels. I used filtered water. Some people complain that it leaks, yes it does a bit, but it's normal, due to the vapor and condensation, it doesn't bother me. Just wipe it. Great quality and now we enjoy homemade expresso. The taste is awesome.

Making adjustments
Got this machine on 4/25. I am going through the trial-and-error stage, trying to find the right bean grind and coffee weight to get the crema and taste I am looking for. It uses a lot more water than my previous machine and the steam flow cannot be adjusted. I am not sure if I am keeping this one are sending it back for a more versatile model, that displays when the expresso pressure is reached, and the steam flow is adjustable. I will give it a few more days and update this review. At this point I am leaning towards getting a more versatile machine. As of 4/28 I have found the hot water does not get beyond 180 Degrees. The water temp for expresso does not get beyond 160 degrees. I am contacting the manufactor to see how this can be resolved.

Just Get It
WOW. The system is easy to learn. The hard part is figuring out the right combination of additives to make your latte the best. I stopped going to $tarbucks because the taste was terrible in comparison to a year ago. They changed something to the point that I would not give up almost 7 dollars for a latte that made me angry when I drank it. I ALWAYS get the White Chocolate Mocha, so I know that something changed about a year ago. I kept giving them chances and thought it was maybe a training issue, but it never went back to the original taste I enjoyed for decades. This went on sale, and I figured I could do it. Well, with patience along with trial and error, I have been using it daily for over 4 months now. No regrets! I chose this over the well-known brand for a simple reason. Familiarity and reliability with my Gevi coffee maker. That coffee maker also grinds before brewing. I bought that sucker almost 5 years ago. My engineer side said to buy the extended warranty because no way the built-in grinder would last. Welp, that was a bet I lost! So, seeing this on sale eased my concerns. My suggestion is to buy a pack of 350ml milk frothing pitchers and fill it with milk until the 250 mark is not visible anymore. 1- It allows for expansion of the milk without spilling over. 2- It allows you to not continually be washing the pitcher between dishwasher runnings. 3- MOST important, standard mugs will hold this milk plus the double shot of espresso brewed before adding the milk to the mug. I emailed customer service on a Saturday morning. The email was replied Monday morning. They have good support as well.

Expect to last a little bit more, light 3 years.
Honestly I was really happy with this coffee machine until now. I was using the same about 3 times daily and always giving the corresponding maintenance. After 17 months of usage it starts to work really weird. Not giving me the correct dosis of coffee, sometime was cold, warm. I’m disappointed because the usage was really minimum. Oh well need to look for another machine.

Really easy to use.
I will usually make myself a cappuccino or a mocha. I fill the portafilter with beans and twist it into the machine and wait a very short time for the water delivery system to heat up. Then, I either get a 4 oz double shot or a 2 oz single shot. I then prep the milk steamer and steam however much milk I need to mix in with the espresso shot. Easy peasy. I wish that the coffee would add a little steam boost at the end, but it is still good. The steamer is a monster and will deliver as much as you want.

Horrible experience!!
Horrible!!! Bought this during Black Friday sale, used it a few times but almost each time it’s a struggle, almost impossible to place the portafilter sealed into the group head. It get stuck and have to use a lot of force to close it. At times can’t even use it and giving up!!! Not sure if all of them are having the same issue or is it only my luck?🤔😩

Water leak
It’s unfortunate that the machine I got has a water leak because i really liked it. After each time o use it to brew espresso or use the steam/hot water wand, water leaks into the drip tray. Not sure where it comes from. I have to empty the drip tray every day. Problem is worse after using the steam wand, it’s more water. I contacted Gevi before returning it so they could make things right but they just told me to return it. If it wasn’t for this problem I’d give it 5 stars. It makes really good espresso, the 58mm portafilter os something that you don’t see in other brands. It also comes with milk pitcher, coffee tamper, and other things that you don’t get with any other machine for this price.
