This is my first alienware desktop, was very skeptical about getting it because of all the negative talks about alienware and it's product's, decided to pull a trigger and I been using it for almost a month and it's been treating me great, no complaints, very easy to setup, very fast, games running flawless, and worth every penny for what you get. Very happy with it!

I bought this during the Black Friday sale along with an ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz 27” 1440P HDR monitor. Unfortunately, the GPU is malfunctioning and doesn’t recognize the display port. We've attempted various troubleshooting methods, including driver reinstalls, but ultimately, the excellent DELL SERVICE, WHICH IS INCLUDED, will send a technician to replace the GPU. But now, however, my PC has been stuck on the alien logo for days despite our efforts, suggesting a potential issue with the motherboard. Consequently, I've decided to return this unit and purchase another one of the same model, giving the vendor another chance. I'll keep you updated on the progress.

In 2017 I bought an Alienware Aurora R7 and that PC was freaking amazing. Ran every game I tried to play perfectly up until recently as graphics are just getting better and better. I figured it was time for an upgrade saw this R14 for $2799 on Amazon and couldn’t beat that with the 3080. This PC is $3500 on dells website. It does not function right with Windows 10 (won’t allow you to access Microsoft store) but once I put it back to windows 11 it’s perfect again. Windows 11 is easy to get used to and might be faster than 10. Hard to say. Overall this PC is great getting a constant 120-150 FPS 240hz 1080P monitor on ultra/extreme graphics on Forza 5. So far I’ve only seen it hit about 72° max and when you quit a game it’s down to 35-40° within 30 seconds. It’s also not loud at all compared to my R7. Every other game I’ve played on here 20+ different games now (Elden Ring, WOW, FH5, Sea of Thieves, cyberpunk(got louder for that one), ESO Online, No Mans Sky.. the list could go on) in a month and have really yet to see the frames drop below 70-80fps on any game maxed out minus in the loading screens. Coming from a GTX 1080 to a RTX 3080 is a game changer and super glad I did it wish I did sooner.

I was concerned about the fans and cooling as some of the reviews said that it was an issue. After two weeks of use, I can tell you the fans and liquid cooling work great, no issues. I mostly play Call of Duty, and this Alienware R14 performs beautifully. This is my first AMD and I noticed that it does run slightly warmer than Intel. No big deal really, liquid cooling works great and this thing is super-fast. The 3080 RTX is an awesome graphics card and a HUGE upgrade from the latest card installed in my old computer, the 2080 RTX. The Alienware software for fan control and overclocking is easy to figure out. The fans are fine, no need to replace them. Liquid cooling works well cooling the CPU. Just use it for gaming, editing, and streaming. No worries It comes in a box with heavy duty foam and the case is covered in a plastic protective film. Arrived on time in perfect condition. I would recommend this computer. It's clean and built well. The $1845.14 price is decent. Excellent value.

Got the 4080 7900 on sale for $2k. This is my first h end gaming PC after I debated doing a self build for hours & hours with many friends who told me I was a fool for going w Alienware/pre-built. But I'm not an expert in these things, so knowing it's done by experts is a plus for me, as long as I'm not paying too much extra. So, unless you are an expert in building PCs yourself, if you are like me and have any doubt about your ability to research and install yourself - go with this. Wait for price to get below 2.5k. It's amazing. Using LG C3 as monitor; v high rez and I blast thru AAA games at 110-120 fps. It's nearly silent only making a few fan noises under extreme duresss. And it's absolutely gorgeous. The fx settings are limitless. I have 0 regrets and wish I could spread this joy to the whole world! Edit after 3mo ownership: Still in heaven! I did Pax Dei alpha and while many in community were struggling to maintain fps, I was always the one going "no lag here; running fine!" No issues at all. Once in a long while it'll make a funny noise. Happened maybe 1ce month under extreme usage. Ps -Make sure you manually change your TV rez/refresh rate to 120hrtz. The default capped me at 30 it took me half a day to figure out why!
