12x14 Non Slip Glass Cutting Board

If I was able to do the photo correctly the left was what I was using. The blob there was after a hot pan was put on it and the bottom side melted. The right side is a pic of the clear Farberware glass which allows the pattern of the marble counter come thru, almost invisible allowing for continuity of the counter. The glass is rough on the cutting side(why?) And the bottom is smooth. I gave three stars to the heat resistance because I have not read up about it. If I might offer my opinion I think it looks great. The cost was less than ten dollars. Well worth the price💜 I could not find a place to make this opinion. So I will add it here. This small flat piece of glass came in a box 12"Hx18"Wx15"D. That rediculous!

This was well worth it. I've actually been using the back side of this for mulling my own watercolor paint. I also use it for rolling out relief print ink. It's held up to a lot of abuse. It has a frosted appearance from all the abrasion over several years, but it's still in great shape. I also think the size is just right. It's big enough to use for a variety of things without being too big to move around or clean easily.

Overall, this cutting board is great. My only complaint is the clear rubber feet kept coming off, so it does move some on my counter now. It is easy to clean though and does not get scratched up, hold smells, or chip when cleaning it. Just be cautious of the feet!

Not too heavy for everyday use. I feel safer using this so as not to add any contaminates to my food that wood, plastic or metal might do.

I read other reviews before purchasing and considered the negative review, but I had a nice glass cutting board many years ago and thought I would try this one because it came from a reputable company (many years ago at least.). Disappointing. Smaller (my fault) and thinner (not my fault) than expected, and thus, will probably shatter pretty easily, as some reviewers have said and shown. The Farberware sticker ON THE GLASS cutting board was a horrible decision by whomever at the company. Not everyone wants to spend time with a flat edge razor to remove it. And here's the thing, the cutting board came shrink-wrapped in plastic! So why oh why did the company not make the smarter decision to put the sticker on the outside of the shrink-wrap? As others have also mentioned, and I will confirm, the little plastic feet on the bottom were misplaced randomly and not aligned correctly. They were easy to pull off and reposition, meaning the adhesive will probably not last long, even with handwashing the board. I bought some larger taller feet that may last longer when I bought this board. And third, as others have also mentioned, the upper cutting side has the beveled pattern and the bottom is flat glass. I think it is supposed to be the other way around and the cutting surface should be flat and not with the ridges because cutting is more difficult. I will probably have to buy something else for cutting and use this as a counter protector or something, but I am afraid it might shatter from heat from a pan. It is a risk. Maybe a plant stand? Overall, I am not sure I can recommend this cutting board. I wish Farberware and other older well-known companies quality was as good as it used to be in "the olden days," but sadly it isn't.

Perfect size. Well made. Will buy other sizes.

Good gift

NOT AS ADVERTISE. They said it is .250 which is 1/4 inch. It isn't. It's just a few thousands of an inch above 1/8 of an inch. Very thin. I'm afraid to put any kind of pressure on it for fear of breaking it. Returning. Don't buy if you think It's 1/4 inch thick. It is not.

We purchased this product primarily as protectors for our bench tops in the kitchen and they work very well. Just the right size to take whatever we put upon them. The clear glass ensures they allow the bench top textures to show through. This board is easy to clean and they remain in place thanks to the silicon feet on the bottom. I'd buy them again.

Just as others said, the bottom stoppers are not secure and fall off easily. Fortunately, we bought this as a piece of artist glass to use as a paint palette, etc so wanted to take them off anyhow. It is a strong cutting board.

As excepted - Faber doesn't disappoint. Easy Cleaning too
