I have loved Jesus Callings books from Sarah! But this one is beautifully crafted, the design in the pages, it makes a beautiful gift for new moms and seasoned moms alike! Small devotional without a lengthy description making it an easy read to go alongside your Bible reading as mothers.

Great book. Good gift for moms any time of the year.

Gave as a gift to both of my daughter in laws for Christmas. They both loved it.

Great for Moms

This is a GREAT book, and a great addition to Sarah Young’s collection of amazing devotionals. I love that the Bible verses are on the page so I don’t have to look them up on my own like I do with Jesus Calling and Jesus Listens. BUT, this book has nothing to do with being a Mom or parenting at all. Except for the random space here and there for you to write a prayer for your children. It’s too bad she labeled it this way because anyone could benefit from this book, and also too bad because I was looking for a devotional for Mom’s and was excited that Sarah Young wrote one, but sad to find out she in fact did not. So my reviews are quite mixed, as with all of her devotionals, this one is awesome, but if you’re looking for something geared towards Mom’s/motherhood, like I am, this is not the book for you or me. Though it does remain part of my morning readings, I just have to find one for Mom’s to add to it.

To start, my mother has battled cancer since I was 10 years old. She's survived all 3 rounds by the grace of God and has leaned on him heavily over the years to get her through the hardest times. Her most recent battle has undoubtedly been the hardest on her, so I wanted to get her something to help lift her spirits. She has been sending me things almost daily from her book and telling me how much she loves it. ❤️
