CASTLECREEK Air Conditioner Fence Screen, AC Covers for Outside to Hide Air Conditioner & for Outdoor Privacy

I purchased these to help provide more privacy for my backyard which is next to a walkway leading to our community rec center. I ordered 7 of these and all of them arrived without damage. Upon arrival, they are bare wood and blonde in color. You do have to attach the hinges. There are a total of 6 hinges for the three lattice panels. I stained them with Ready Seal Pre-tinted Natural Cedar color Semi-transparent stain and sealer. I went over them twice with this oil-based stain. For comparison, the Marlboro fence on the bottom is 5 years old with the wood being red tone when purchased, and has been stained three times with Thompson's Timber Oil in Cedar Transparent. I would definitely purchase these again to hide an air conditioner or for privacy. As for attaching them to the Marlboro fence, I used L brackets front and back on each panel as well as 2X 2 rails and some cedar pickets. They won't survive hurricane-force winds but, I live in Colorado with a greater risk of wildfire than tornadoes.

Easy to assemble. It holds up well to rain and wind. Looks very nice also.

This product looks lovely and easy to assemble but I took away a star because the screws are extremely short and did not hold up well. Otherwise great product!

Good product. Covers the external ac unit very well. It absorbs wood stain/sealer very well.

This AC fence has really helped me fancify my back patio! I decided to extend my 10 x 14 ft concrete patio to a 40 x 24 ft paved wonder. Now, that 40 ft extends to the entire back of my home which means that this AC unit was in the way. However, I found this fence online, painted it the same color as my pergola and let it blend in to the beauty of it all. The structure itself is very sturdy! I was worried that I would have issues keeping it up since I cannot shove it into the ground, but it's held up perfectly with no problems. Since my AC unit is the same size as the panels, I had to use different brackets to extend out a little more and hold them together. It worked! See photos for details. I highly recommend. It's worth the price.

Attractive but poorly constructed fell apart after one season.

I got the natural color and stained it when it arrived. I put it around my AC unit because it is close to my patio in my yard. It works perfectly, is sturdy and adds a nice visual touch.

I guess I thought AC units were all the same standard size, nope, I needed a 38" width. I might still keep them and not have them straight on both sides. They were easy to put together and smell like fresh cedar
