There are SO MANY Hooker recordings ! If you like the raw stuff like on House Of The Blues, the Besman stuff, then this is for you . Late 40's to late 50's Hooker stomping his foot, while playing solo, sometimes with Eddie Kirkland on 2nd guitar, and a few full band tracks- some with horns .All in all, a great set of Besman recordings. They all Rock . Just listen to 'Lost My Job' . There will never be another like him .All these Soul Jam releases are teriffic check em 'out .
