I was not sure when I realised how thin is this cable. But I connected to my lampshade with extra switch. It work well and it looks very discreet. I recommend.

The wire arrived promptly and was well packaged but I was a bit concerned when I opened the package because the wire was super-thin. It is actually thinner than the charger wire to my mobile phone. I required 12v 10 amps capacity to supply 4 120 LED light fittings so I hope this wire will perform as required.

Flexible, multi-strand 2-core mains cable, 0.5 sq mm, good for 3 amps, more than adequate for 6 x 7W LED lights (takes 180 mA!). I prefer multi-strand for wiring cable nuts because it conforms to the jaws. Convenient to purchase in small lengths; 10m was just right.

Just what I wanted to swop the black wire with on my bedside lamps easy to use if you know what you are doing 👍

Bought to enable a lamp to be extended by replacing the power cable. I haven't used it as compared to any other lamp power cable I've ever seen, this is so thin I'm reluctant to. It says it's rated as it should be but I'm not willing to risk it - I'd need to ask an electrician if it's suitable so I don't burn my house down.

This wire was much thinner than I expected and not suitable for a 240V lamp with a 3A fuse in the plug. The wire is not thick enough to carry 3A (the minimum fuse size in the UK) so would likely cause a fire before the fuse would blow. It might be ok for low voltage, low current use but not suitable for mains use.

Excellent goods promptly delivered at reasonable cost. What more can you expect. Thank you

bought as lighting wire but core far too small for that more like speaker wire
