Smooth and nice. Feels like a felt tip but writes like a roller. The only complaint is that if you press extremely hard, the ink doesn't flow. Use good quality paper or else the ink may seep through.

I use only AIR PENS because they write SO much easier and with old arthritic hands their way more comfortable and smoother to write with you don't have to push harder like a regular gel pen and the ink dries quickly and doesn't smear like most gel pens I use the red for puzzle books and their GREAT thet also last a long time

The Uni-Ball AIR 0.7mm Medium Rollerball is by far my favorite pen! The smoothness of the ink is amazing, making writing feel effortless. These write like a fountain pen but without the hassle of breaking-in a fountain pen nib, and refilling ink. The downside is that these have gotten much more expensive recently.

As a writer, this has become my new favorite pen. It glides across the paper effortlessly and has a thick, marker-like ink to it. I love taking notes with this pen. If you're on the fence about buying these, take this as your sign to get them. You won't be disappointed.

I had to get a refund because it wrote terribly and bleeds like crazy. I hated this pen! HATED IT! It's less like a roller pen and more like a sharpie... a cheaply made and designed sharpie, a cheaply made sharpie that's more expensive than an actual sharpie. I don't know why they call it an AIR pen... there's nothing airy about it, it writes like garbage and is the exact opposite of smooth. again it writes like a sharpie but is more expensive than a sharpie. I also don't think this pen should be a rollerball pen but rather should be classified as a marker, because i did not see anything resembling a ball at the tip of the pen. If you like overly thick and heavy bleeding ink that writes a bit rough then by all means buy this pen, but don't let them talk you into this marketing nonsense about it being "smooth" because there are hundreds of other pens that write far smoother than this thing.

I bought these for my daughter for school. She loves them. They write really well, and are not too thick. The ink flows really well. They are a lovely pen to write with. I only bought black so I cannot comment on the colour range available.

I was recommended this pen by a friend and found this pack to be the best value to pen ratio. The pens came in a little plastic bag that has a small closable flap that can be used as a holder for them (still plastic, but at least it's not the packaging that is immediately tossed after opening). So I appreciated that at least. When writing the ink flowed well and instantly from first use. While they are 0.7 I find them closer to a 0.5, I write fairly small but didn't find them thick enough to cause problems for my writing style (I didn't plan to post my tests so ignore how messy they are). They dried fairly fast, and were totally smudge-proof after 5 minutes (including going at em with an eraser). They bled through standard printer paper slightly, but not as bad as micron pens I have of the same size, thicker paper you will have no problem. Overall look like they will be great for both writing and drawing :)
