Good quality for a medium duty budget priced clamp
I purchased a few of these for a project needing a moderate amout of clamping force with a 3" throat. While advertized in some places with having a 3-1/2" throat, the throat depth only measures at 3-1/4". Most budget priced C clamps are made of cast or malliable iron, which will break if over loaded. These Bessy C clamps are advertised as being made of forged steel, which is much stronger. The screw is, as expected in this proce range, to be smaller in diameter than the heavy duty Armstrong C clamps I have, but is more than adequate. It has an Acme thread which is stronger than a regular angled screw thread. LOL, I was so pleased after using them that I would have bought a few more, but after the New Year the price went up, so I think I'll get by with the ones I have for now.

Heavy-Duty Clamp That Gets the Job Done
The BESSEY CM60 C-Clamp is built like a tank. I’ve been using it for woodworking and farm projects, and it holds strong without slipping or bending. The drop-forged frame feels solid and can take a lot of torque without twisting, and the screw mechanism threads smoothly even under heavy pressure. The 6-inch opening gives plenty of range for most clamping needs, and the black finish helps resist rust when used outdoors. I’ve used cheaper clamps before that flex or seize up — this one doesn’t. It’s a simple, no-nonsense tool that performs exactly as it should. If you want a reliable clamp that’ll last for years of shop or farm use, this is the one to get. Excellent quality for the price.

True C clamp
Very well made C clamp. I had one for over 30 years and lent it out or misplaced it. But it was made differently. It was square top and bottom. Not a true C clamp. This gives me a recess top and bottom for clearance. I had many times needed a true C clamp and had to use spacers to get clearance. Love the quality and value.

H.D. C-Clamp seems a little cheap
For being a heavy duty c clamp I really expected the threads to be more tight and that the pads would line up more centered. It’s a good quality clamp except for the thread slop. Sometimes I use them with sockets, to press things out, and when I did, the socket kept misaligning and falling off so I could not really torque it very much . Overall it’s an okay clamp, but I wouldn’t consider it to be heavy duty.

The Best For Clamping
These metal clamps are so much better than the plastic jaw ones. Hubs and I were assembling a plant bench and needed some clamps to hold slats together while the wood glue dried and these worked perfectly. Both of the plastic clamps broke off. These are very durable and should last for years.

Great clamp
Nice heavy duty clamp

Extra Heavy Duty
Extra heavy weight cast iron C-Clamps. Clean castings, nicely finished. Won't work for my original intent -- these are big for 2.5" clamps, and extra deep -- but I'm keeping them anyway as a great addition to our toolbox.
