I need to learn how to weld very quickly to remove a snapped bolt from an engine. I bought a cheap old now darkening welding helmet but I couldn’t see a thing through it so it was useless. This was so much easier to use, could see perfectly to set up weld and darkened instantly on pulling the trigger. Very adjustable head band made it comfortable to wear and light as well. Don’t know why would need anything better than this I paid £40 for.

Works well and is comfortable but quite difficult to adjust initially. (And don’t my mistake by dismantling the visor adjustment knobs - they are very difficult to re-assemble!)

Great welding helmet easy lens change, plenty of options for settings. One fault, the box is too small it squashed the helmet so when you try it on the sides press on your temple. Easy fix just put a pack in to open it up for a few days.

Good mask at a reasonable price.

Very impressed given the price. The pre strike vision is very good and,once set up, the weld pool is easy to follow. Only used on gas mig so far, but I'm sure it will be just as good for stick welding. Also very comfortable.

Great bit of kit

Works well, loses a star only because I find it a bit uncomfortable, but I do have an aversion to jays or anything worn on my head.
