Device works great. Plays gba games perfectly. If you need to trade Pokémon via link cable for Gen 3, this will do that. Came with a gba cartridge that has an SD card slot, making it easy to have the entire gba library on one device. The screen is sort of small for my eyesight, and the gb/gbc/sega/tg systems that can be emulated don't run very smoothly.

Let's say you want a game boy advance player to record from. This is it. It has a rechargable battery with a cable more people are likely to use, screen brightness button, lovely buttons, and if you don't like the L and R triggers, you can use the X and Y buttons. If you have an elgato, you can use an Aux to Aux to capture stereo audio. The only downside is that it is the ds GBA (from what I assume) you cannot play game boy or Gameboy color cartridges on it (not a big loss for me.) If I'm wrong, I'll happily update this but I tried a few. It's just great to have a regular GBA that I can also record from. It's like a Nintendo made Switch for the GBA.

When i bought my first one i was blown away by how good it handled and played. It was able to play all the gba advance games i had, including the fake pokemon cartridges, and some rom hacks. It works just as described and the best part is you can even play on your TV with the AV cables it comes with. The only issue i had with this device is that the screen is way to small and could have been bigger. Even the original gba sp screen is a lot bigger than this device but other that that its pretty neat. One of the biggest problems i had is trading pokemon. Its very annoying to get it to work with a real gba because once you go to select trade and once you save, and when its done saving. It'll just stay with the message saying waiting on player 2 to confirm or something similar to that, and it'll never confirm. At first i thought the cables were bad but when i traded some pokemon on me and my friend's GBAs with the same cable it worked fine. So we attempted it again on this device and the same thing happened. So i dont know if the company making this device realized this issue or maybe its a hardware issue but either way it sucks. If you're using this device to trade pokemon it wont work. I did buy another one to test it out and it kinda works but the screen stays in black and wont advance from there. The music will play and everything but it'll never take you to the trading room. I hope your device works cause the 2 devices i own don't seem to work when it comes to trading. But if you don't care about trading pokemon or anything related trading or multiplayer then this device is a perfect substitute for the GBA advance and you'll enjoy it very much. Although i do wish i could trade pokemon but it is what it is

I got it today and I like the feel and the Famicom controller design, plus the adjustable rightness. The K-Card might be terrible, but you can buy the Everdrive GBA to replace it with a much and it works fine.

I hate everything about it. Stopped working after a few days and won't turn on no matter how much I charge it.

It has a lot of features and I really enjoy being able to put anything on the micro SD.

This is a nice-looking system with a lot of features. It has TV out, a headphone jack, and multiple brightness settings. It also comes with a screen protector and a screwdriver to change the battery if ever necessary. I've tested the system out with an old GBA cartridge and it seems to work perfectly. The only reason I'm giving this three stars is because the K-Card that came with it did not work properly. When you turn on the system with the K-Card in the game slot, it should go to a special menu to load games. However, the system just stayed on the "GAMEBOY" screen indefinitely. My system worked great with the old GBA cartridge, so I'm guessing it's the K-Card that's defective. I've been looking around for a replacement and I haven't been able to find one that uses a micro SD. I'm considering returning the item, but may just keep it because it's still cheaper than a regular GBA.

It's a Revo K101+, boxed the same as the real thing and the K-Card has the same logos and internals. It's much better and cost effective than buying a genuine GBA or GBA SP but the buttons can be finnicky and the charger and link cable ports don't always work. Not sure what the other functions are but of course this isn't to run Mac OS on or play the newest Call of Duty. Get your intentions figured out before you buy.
