This book helps you to see network marketing as it truly is. It does prepare you for the challenges and disappointments that are to come. It also helps you see how friends and family can turn on you when you do your network marketing thing. I had friends who I thought would support me no matter what. Well I was wrong. As a network marketer, your "friends" will start to treat you like you have the plague. They become so fearful that over drinks or dinner, you are going to try to pitch them again that they dodge you. It applies even over the phone or Facebook. It would have been hilarious but I must admit, there were times I was offended. Regardless of how you supported them with their hair-brained schemes over the years, they run in the other direction when they find out you are a "NETWORK MARKETER". Yikes! Lol. This book helps you understand that it is in the nature of your family and friends to "save" you from your network marketing career. At least that is what they think they are doing. It is up to you to stand your ground in what you are doing and show them how serious you are. The book tells you how to deal with these situations. That is why this book is a requirement if you are not only starting out but if you have been networking for years and start to become frustrated. There are great tips on how to approach others as well as great background stories that you just might find familiar. If you are a network marketer and have never read this book, I suggest you get started by purchasing it today.

Is Good Book

This book was recommended to me . Happy that I did so far I am really enjoying it! Great author he guides us with such much needed knowledge. Must buy if you need more guidance with network marketing or if you are new to it.

I have a much better understanding of network marketing having read this book, and feel more committed to it than ever. If you're looking for a book to lay out the basics, identify the potential pitfalls, and help you develop "belief", this is a good choice. If I were to make a criticism of the book, it would be that the text tends to be unnecessarily repetitive. I think the same information (and the same impact) could have been conveyed in a book 1/2 th length of this one.

Forever be a book i read over and over!!

This is the first book that anyone interested in network marketing should obtain. In this book, the Yarnells answer all of the questions that anyone new in network marketing, or anyone involved in the industry, may have. Although nothing replaces on the field experience, this is a good outlook on what the new network marketer will face out on the field. It contains tips that will make your business successful. Great book, great read, great information. I learned a great deal about the industry thanks to this book. If you want to be successful in network marketing, you must get this book and read it. It doesn't matter what point of your career you are. You will learn new things if your new, or you will learn how to improve your system if you're a veteran.

If one book could make the difference between succeeding and quitting in network marketing, this is the book. People don't fail in MLM, they quit. This book is a practical roadmap to navigating all the good and not so good things that can and may happen as you become an MLMer. Every time I skim it, I find another lesson I need RIGHT NOW. I don't think I would have quit my dream of financial independence, but I know this book propelled me forward and helped me avoid a lot of pitfalls and pain. So easy to read and full of common-sense approaches and solutions. Worth its weight in gold if you are new to direct sales and network marketing.

Honestly, I just can't get into this book. I am having a hard time getting past the first few pages. I personally think it is the set up of the pages to be blunt. I have read some good stuff as I have skimmed through the book and read eye-catching sections, but for me to sit down and read this book and highlight the good stuff and take notes--- yea, well it is just not happening with this one. Information wise, what I am reading is good- This couple certainly hits both sides - the misconceptions and well as the reality of the network marketing world. One thing I do like is the summary at the end of each chapter (one reason is becaus eit is a different font and page set so it is easier to follow) but mainly because it really does highlight the good parts of the chapter.
