We have been buying manruta chips for at least two years. We are a veterinary service and recently last week had a client get in touch with us and say that the number on the microchip that we Implanted already existed. We contacted the National Registry and they actually changed the other person's microchip and assigned it to our client. This is a major mistake as three days later we had two more of the same exact situation and now have four. We Were able to get in touch with the other veterinarian through the registry that had implanted another 20 chips of the same lot numbers. We have contacted Amazon who basically has said they will take the Manruta chips down but has yet to do so. Getting in touch with the Manruta company which is in China is impossible. I think this is going to turn into a major situation because I cannot imagine that only 20 chips were duplicated. I'm going to imagine this could be a much bigger problem. Hopefully, either Amazon or Manruta will do the right thing and stand behind the Purchaser and the client with a solution. Other than that, they have offered us a Refund on the product sold to us. If you are a pet owner or another clinic DO NOT use these chips.

***EDIT: I have added 1 star back on, because the company did reach out to me and refund my purchase price. Still, though, the fact remains that the chips were almost all faulty. 4 weeks out, we are now up to 18/20 that have failed, and almost $350 in refunds to families because of the faulty chips. Have since gone back to the AnimalID chips from the seller Fox Den Enterprises, like always, and every one has been fine again. We have been buying AnimalID microchips for years, decided to try these due to a sale price. Big mistake. 15/20 have failed so far. Many were dead upon insertion, the rest of them have failed within 2 weeks. No idea what’s going on, but I have had to reimburse several puppy families now for the faulty chips. DO NOT BUY.
