Purchased as a gift for a friend's child as i'm a believer that you can never have too many books! Loved Enid Blyton when I was young and the magic is still very much alive, some stories and authors are timeless and this is very much one of those collections. A lovely addition for kids of all ages.

Written, of course, a couple of generations ago
This book came up as a recommendation for a 4 year old girl in the choices list. So I ordered this for my granddaughter on her 4th birthday. It's totally unsuitable for this purpose, because there are only a very few ink drawings, so nothing to keep her attention. The stories, too, are a little twee for this day and age!
