Cheap and good

I added this kit to my minibike to use when out riding, camping and such. Very useful. Sheaths are strong. Blades are sharp enough. And who doesn't love a matching kit? Grips are comfortable and slip free.

The MACHETE: Nice grip. Like the weight and balance. Do not like the ease in which the blade seems to nick and dent relatively easy. Used it to cut some fibrous weeds that seems to multiple in my yard like rabbits. First thing I noticed was that, right out of the box, it was dull. The 2nd thing I noticed, after about 10 mins of use, was the blade had some visible damage. It had a few spots, toward the tip, that had nicks and dents. When I ran my finger along the side of the blade I found rough spots and a place where it appeared blade dented almost like the metal was so soft that it simply pushed the metal in and off to the side. The blade never came into contact with rocks or wood of any kind. Just the fibrous weeds that I was cutting down to about 1-2 inches tall so I could mow over them. HATCHET: Nice grip. Decent weight and balance. It was sharp right out of the box. So far I've only used it to cut smaller soft wood trees, like the cursed Mulberry Trees that grow wild and abundantly in my yard, and seems to really work well. I didn't have to use full heavy swings to fell the trees. I cannot say how well it'll do on a harder wood yet as I haven't made it to the small Ash or Walnut trees that need chopped down. HUNTING KNIFE: Cannot say anything as I've not even taken it out of the box.

Great kit, use this at my tree stand during hunting season. Machete is great for clearing my paths, hatchet also comes in handy for thicker branches, with a knife to have for cooking or cleaning game. Made my trips much easier.

Prefect for storing in the truck and using in all types of situations. My brother works in the Central California foothills. He finds himself taking a break and shootings camping. The tools never leave his truck and have come in handy. Perfect for fishing or making kindling for a fire. They are a good weight and size (not big, but not small).

Sturdy, sharp and just what I need!!

I get a LOT of camp gadgets and this is one of the better inexpensive camp gadget kits that I have picked up. Not fantastic, but great for the price (doesn't hold an edge well, but didn't expect it to). Great for teaching youth how to handle various tools safely without being large and unwieldy.

Finally completed my survival backpack with these! Good quality and size.

Super Teil

Ich war und bin von der Qualität beeindruckt. Liegt auch alles super in der Hand. Gute Größe. Kann mein aus meiner Sicht nix falsch machen.

Dies ist eine vorläufige Bewertung, die später, nach mehrmaligem Einsatz) noch aktualisiert werden muss. ...also natürlich muss man bei diesem Produkt mit dem Preis anfangen, welcher unschlagbar ist. Für so wenig Geld bekommt man kaum ein ähnlich gutes Produkt. Bisher hatte ich das Beil einmal mitgenommen und direkt im Einsatz. Das Beil ist wirklich erstaunlich leicht. Man fühlt kaum , dass man etwas in der Hand hat im Vergleich zu anderen Beilen, was man mögen muss, ich bin schwerere Beile gewohnt und finde das Gewicht bisher etwas merkwürdig. Zur Robustheit der Hülle kann ich nur sagen, dass mir soweit nichts Negatives aufgefallen ist. bei dem Beil selbst bin ich hingegen noch etwas skeptisch. Ich habe das Beil zwar schon ziemlich intensiv eingesetzt und im großen und Ganzen ist es immer noch im guten Zustand, aber eine/ einige kleine Kerbe/Kerben waren an der Klinge nach dem Einsatz vorhanden. Diese ließen sich mit einem einfachen klingenschärfer zwar leicht wieder entfernen und die Klinge ist wieder scharf. Ich werde das Beil beim nächsten Trip erneut einsetzen und dann noch einmal Bericht erstatten. Die "Machete" oder das Messer (sieht wahrscheinlich jeder Betrachter etwas anders) hatte ich noch nicht benutzt. Es erscheint mir aber für den Einsatz als Machete etwas zu klein und zu leicht. Aber vielleicht werde ich ja positiv überrascht.
