Love Gail Gibbons books
We used this book as a supplement to our homeschool study of pumpkins and the autumn season. I love Gail Gibbons books. She packs so much fact into a fun and beautifully illustrated book. If you've never read her books before you should check them out.

I like that this book is education, and fun to read. The pictures are great.

Great informational text which children love
Used it with an investigative approach to pumpkins and squashes, as an informational text for shared reading, as a mentor text for "all about" books for writing workshop with first graders. Each time we read it, they beg for more.
