This was a necessary purchase for a patient spending 15+ hours in bed daily. It is pretty quite, equivalent to a white noise machine or a small fan. It was easy to assemble and put on the bed, though it is a bit tricky to put a fitted sheet over it and not squish the air pump cord at the end of the bed. It was very affordable and came with a patch kit, which we hopefully won't have to use. Wish I'd know about home products like this much sooner.

This worked wonderfully to keep my elderly bedridden diabetic mother from getting pressure ulcers. I highly recommend this item as a tool to aid in pressure ulcer prevention.

Helps with pressure points over shoulder and hips for a “side sleeper”.. Agree with another reviewer that if you are directly on top of the “air mattress” it feels “ pokey- like it’s pushing in on you” … so I reduced the pressure setting and I put a 2” memory foam on top of the air mattress… love it! My motor is quiet and does not get hot. ( place motor down by your feet… not near your head.) worth every penny to wake up refreshed without shoulder and hip pain. My bed is a sleep number bed , and even with this, I was having pressure pain, despite reducing and changing the pressure on my Sleep Number bed. The trick is alternating pressure points while you’re sleeping.

This works very well at relieving discomfort and pain on pressure points. ONLY reason for 4 and not 5 stars is it slides off my mattress. I have an adjustable mattress. I do think this would stay in place on a regular mattress. There is plenty of material to tuck between the mattress and box spring. Adjustable beds do not have a box spring. Despite having to reposition every day, I do not regret the purchase. The benefits out weigh the inconvenience I experience with a mattress that is not stationary. Highly recommended for anyone who is bed ridden or needs relief from an injury or medical condition affecting nerve and tissue sensitivity. Twin size. Covers more than half of my queen mattress. Is very quiet. I do not hear the motor. Firmness is adjustable via an easy to turn dial.

My husband was bed bound and couldn’t lay on his side. He started getting some red areas. A short time on this mattress and the reddened areas were gone. The alternating makes the difference.

*****Honest Review After One Year of Use***** I purchased the MedVance Premium Alternating Air Pressure Mattress Pad a year ago, and for the most part, it has been a great investment. My mom can’t turn over on her own, and this mattress has helped tremendously in preventing pressure sores and discomfort. Before getting this, I was constantly repositioning her at night to relieve pressure, but with this mattress, that wasn’t necessary. It provided consistent support, and she never developed any sores or a sore bottom while using it. It was easy to set up right out of the box, and the shipping was fast. The pump was ultra-quiet at first, which was a big plus since she’s a light sleeper. However, after a year of use, the pump has started making a loud knocking noise, which is disappointing. Since I didn’t purchase the warranty, I’m now stuck with a malfunctioning pump. If I buy this again, I will definitely get the warranty just in case. Overall, this mattress did its job well for a year, but I wish the pump had lasted longer. If you’re considering buying it, I’d recommend it for its effectiveness, but I’d also suggest getting the warranty for peace of mind.

Voltage is 110V 60Hz and not suitable for UAE. After sales service is not responding.
