These arrived as expected. Pictures depict product as received and what my old store bought version looks like compared to this. The date on reverse of product was copyrighted 2013 which could lead the rubber to be brittle and subject to breaking more easily. SIZE: These are I believe the thickest ones they make. Initially, for most people, they will go around your ponytail twice. After heavy use, I can get one around 3 times. These are not the long skinnier ones that will go around 3-4 times but and don't offer much support. These are heavy duty ones! HAIR TYPES: Goody claims this is product is for all hair types but not in my opinion. They are simply regular black hair elastics with rubber woven in. Of course that won't be comfortable if you have really thick hair, or really curly hair, or long hair that easily tangles. My hair is fine and straight and my ponytails are usually limp. If I have braid waves, it is a bit harder to remove these elastics. Unless you're playing sports or have slick hair where regular elastics usually just slide right out, you don't need a product like this and it may damage your hair. PRICE POINT: This is competitive although they can usually be found cheaper in person at popular stores. PROS: These don't come out even when I'm swimming or surfing, they do stretch out over time making 3 times around possible, come in colors to match your hair color, CONS: Not ideal for all hair types, can damage hair, take time to stretch out. TIP: If you have fine hair resulting in limp ponytails you can use a bobby pin or two to give yourself a more flattering high ponytail. Search for this beauty trick online.

Where have these been all my life?! I can't believe I'm just now able to keep a high pony all day at work with these. They don't slip a bit and are worth every penny!

FINALLY!!!! These are the best ties I've found to keep a pony in place...I mean even OVERNIGHT I wake to a pony and not a knotted mess. They stay with amazing hold and have thrown out all others I had. Now just hoping they keep selling them for awhile, tho I def bought several bags!

My partner likes to use these. She has long fine soft hair. Had to get regular ties to stay in her hair. These work for her.

My husband and I both have long hair, and mine is thick. We can't find these hair ties in stores or pharmacies anymore. They're grippy and non-slip and won't loosen or fall out. But they pull my hair when I remove them, and I have a lot of hair fall because of the level of grippiness. They break easily once in a while on the first stretch. You have to gently stretch them a few times before using to try to avoid easy breakage. They can last a really long time before they get too stretched out to continue using. Won't buy anything else if I can avoid it.

Love these for runnning. I have thick hair and this keeps my ponytail in place. Also good for holding a messy bun in place due to the rubber spiral around the hair ties.

These are my favorite Pony tail ties I have ever bought I can't find them in the retail stores anymore at least Amazon has them.

These are the beat hair ties for thick hair, they are not available in my area so I'm happy to find them on Amazon!
