e.l.f. Love Triangle Lip Filler Liner, 2-in-1 Lipliner Pencil For Sculpting & Filling, Long-Lasting Intense Color, Vegan & Cruelty-Free, Mauve

I bought this lip liner hoping for something easy to use, and overall it’s pretty good. It glides on smoothly without tugging, and the color is nicely pigmented, which helps define my lips well. I also like that it blends easily with lipstick. However, it doesn’t last as long as I expected and tends to fade after a few hours, especially if I’m eating or drinking. I also had to sharpen it often, which was a bit annoying. Still, for the price, it’s a solid option for everyday wear, just not the most long-lasting choice.

Edit: I wore it last night with my gloss. While the caveats mentioned below remain, actually, it was fine with my gloss. Before I put my gloss on (note that the latter is pigmented, not sheer) it read as brown on me, but was not visible under the warm mauve gloss, did help define my lips (which you need at my age, with gloss) and with the moisturizing gloss on top, it certainly did not feel drying or uncomfortable. So this is definitely useable. Original review: Well, now I know I prefer Wet N Wild to ELF. My previous ELF pencil purchase, which was an eye pencil, was a bit dry and I thought it might be a fluke. I just received this lip pencil and a lipstick from ELF and it is not a fluke. Both the pencil and the lipstick are dry and hard. The good news is you can get a super precise line and it's not going to smudge. The bad news is that it is not moisturizing by any stretch of the imagination (not a big deal for the pencil, but I will review the lipstick later). The other thing is the colour. This "Mauve" is a very interesting colour. It is quite deep, but soft and greyed. It is like a mixture of purple, cool brown, and grey. No warmth or pink or red in it whatsoever. It is a colour I could conceivably use on my eyes (but it is definitely a lip pencil). I put it under the lipstick I ordered, which is fire engine red, and I couldn't see it. I will try it with my warm mauve lip gloss, don't know if it will be wearable. It does sort of match my lips, sadly, as I am a pale olive with purple lips. But it would make me look pretty dead alone. I will play around with it when I have time and edit this review if anything interesting comes up!

PERFECT I love how it is a twist up/twist down instead of a pencil, so it makes it so much easier to use without having to worry about having a sharpener on hand!

Lasts for a good amount of time (hours) but does smudge onto my water bottle. Good for price considering it doesn’t need to be sharpened but the scent is pretty off putting. I have ginger skin and shades of brown look best on me. The colors could be named a lot better because they’re not what they seem- ‘soft brown’ is not brown at all, and I was expecting more greyish brown for the ‘mauve.’ I’ll stick with the less expensive ELF pencil that needs to be sharpened.

Like elf lipliners no matter what their current hype is...hello kitty, triangle, whatever. Go on smooth, last hours. Use them as lipstick (with clear lipliner). Color darker than anticipated but a second coat with lighter shade tones it down.

I bought this, Elf Love Triangle Lip Filler Liner in soft pink ($4) and Elf Cream Glide Lip Liner in ‘truth or bare’ color. ($2) The cream glide feels more moisturizing and smooth while applying it. THE LTLF feels less smooth, but looks great on. They both do. I did an experiment for smudge resistance and rubbed the lips trying to smudge the lip liner onto my face. Clear winner! The LTLF barely bright any color (had to look very closely) off the lip. The Cream glide lip liner smudged easily off my lips and brought substantial color off my lips to my face. So, for $2 more, I think the Love triangle lip liner is a better choice. I know my husband doesn’t want lipstick marks on his face. And I don’t want to transfer lipstick to the chalice at church. The photo of my wrist: the multiple lines is the Elf love triangle lip, filler liner in soft pink. The single line is the elf cream glide lip liner. The photo of my lips, the top lip has the soft pink elf lip triangle lip filler. The bottom lip has the elf cream. I blotted my lips prior to the smudge test.

Bin sehr zufrieden, mal schauen, wie lange der Inhalt reicht. Damit lassen sich die Lippen sehr schön definieren.
