A nice first step into the griddle scene
I had wanted to try an outdoor griddle, but didn't want to start off with a huge one due to concerns about how much I would actually use it and the lack of a good covered space to store it. I had seen/considered this Cuisinart before, and then it want on sale for $100. I thought it would fit right next to my BGE on its table, and it did. I seasoned the grill very well with avocado oil, like 4-5 seasoning cycles, spreading the oil around and even reversing the griddle surface itself to ensure even seasoning. I cannot stress enough how important this process is to ensuring the non-stick performance of the griddle. Anyway, once that was done, I let the griddle cool, and then, like many, made smashburgers for my first cook on it. I cooked a piece of bacon and then sauteed some onions with in a balsamic reduction. This easily accommodated 6 1/3lb wagyu patties at a time, making 3 double smashburgers. They were fantastic. The next morning, I cooked breakfast on it, doing a whole pack of bacon, some eggs, and pancakes on it...all turned out great. I really did not have much trouble cleaning it/directing grease into the trap with a big spatula, and re-seasoning it before putting it up. I bought the cover/transport bag for it in the deal, as well. I really like the size of it for my small family, and its portability. The unit heats quickly and pretty evenly. The sides could be higher/control spatter better, especially on greasy cooks like bacon and burgers...grease basically covered a 1/2ft radius around rear sides/back, so be mindful of that in placement decisions. In the future, I may put a cloth down/around it or use it on a portable plastic table that can be wiped down easier. Otherwise, I'm really happy with it, and we will see if I continue to use it/use for larger groups to the point I want to get a bigger unit. For now, it's just about perfect for my desired use.

Fulfill your short-order cook fantasies!
This griddle is awesome. There are a few quirks that are notable, but if you can look past them, you'll be flopping hashbrowns and slinging eggs like nobody's business. First and most major quirk for me is that the griddle top doesn't actually attach to the body, it sits on top, which would be important to know before you try and flip the thing over to get a look at the bottom and accidentally drop the cast-iron griddle on your foot. Ouch. Don't do that. Second quirk is that the drain hole for grease and bits is somewhat small and takes some finesse to get all the bits to fall down there - also, it should go without saying, but this is even more challenging if the griddle is set up somewhere that isn't level. Last quirk, which is pretty obvious is that this ends up being somewhat small in cooking surface if your cooking for more than a couple of people. Now the positives - huge heat that gets up to temperature quickly. There are hot and cool spots, but you'll get to know them pretty quickly. I've used this to make eggs, hash browns, real and fake sausage patties, and other items and it works like a champ. I tossed some salmon on it as well and can easily get that high-end restaurant sear with a tender interior that is almost impossible on a standard range and pan setup. The whole thing is pretty lightweight, if awkwardly sized, and it uses full size propane bottles only - so you can keep the same tank between a propane heater, grill, and the griddle without having to fiddle with those 1/2 gallon camping tanks. Overall, this is fantastic purchase at a great price.

Excellent product for a fair price
Excellent product. I have done quite a bit of grilling as well s smoking meats, but wanted to learn how to griddle cook. I always thought it was neat to see how the old experienced cooks in a diner were able to create so many good dishes on the griddle so quickly and seemingly effortlessly. I know the brand is a good one, so I gave this one a try and it meets all of my expectations. Seasoning the griddle surface was actually a fun project...took most of the morning but it now has a really fine patina and nothing inappropriately sticks. I have done rib eyes, breakfast items, eggs in several different variations and several varieties of fresh vegetables...the asparagus was outstanding! The size of this one is ideal for me to take camping as well. I wanted the two burner model so I could have a temperature differential across the griddle if I needed it. This one is easy to adjust and holds the temperature well. The griddle surface is massive enough to hold its heat well. I'm about to do some pork chops...

Great griddle! Make sure you clean and then season the cook surface well
Overall this griddle is pretty badass. Really great for tailgating or car camping. There are 2 things I'd offer up as useful knowledge after my first weekend out with it. 1) Get it early enough that you have time to season it, seasoning makes a huge difference. It arrived from Amazon the evening before my trip so I didnt have a chance to season the cook surface and it worked but it was not ideal. When I got it home I spent a whole day with it and a can of oven cleaner, some steel wool, and a bottle of grapeseed oil to clean up the messy cook surface and give it a proper season. The instructions tell you to season it by using the heating elements on the griddle itself however this is not safe to do indoors (if you're in an apartment like me) so I set my oven to 500F and seasoned it like my cast irons instead by placing in the oven for 1hr for each layer of oil. 2.) Wind is a problem. If you're camping somewhere with high winds the surface of the griddle wont get hot enough to cook anything. We resolved this issue by placing a cooler behind it as a wind break and it was like night and day. If you're going to be using your griddle somewhere windy, you'll need a way to block the wind.

Bonne dimension, belle conception. Plaque chauffe rapidement.

not the most even heating on th griddle plate from the burners and the grease trap tends to leak on to the bottom deck of the unit. but its convenience of size and mobility is beneficial. overall a pretty good griddle,
