00682 Add-On Storage Hook

Works well with garage storage rack, we use to hang bikes, gives extra space for a fair price, very sturdy

If you have any of the Hyloft storage racks, these are a "must have" since you can hang you weed eaters and other garden tools from them. I got 8 of them and need a bunch more now that I see they work so well. They are a little loose the way they mount but a small zip tie (once your sure of you placement) fixes that very quickly.

Work as expected, pretty strong

I have a unique issue of garage wall shelving where the rafter boards are laid flat with 2x4s (1.5"x3.5"), see Dino shelf products (discontinued) and other similar anchored wall shelves. I've looked everywhere for a right size hanger hook, from big box stores to Etsy tradecrafts but doesn't seem to exist. I don't like the idea of screwing in big nail hooks on the underside of the rafter boards since it becomes permanent. This is the only rafter hook that fits ... If you use it in reverse. The reverse side measures 3.5" exactly and snugly fits over the 2x4s, while the other end can be used as a hanger hook too.

Updated: I contacted Amazon customer service and they helped me to resolve this. No explanation as to why I was sent a used item. As for the hooks themselves, they are fine but frankly overpriced for what they do and a little less sturdy than I expected under the weight of a bike. Without being heavier duty or having durable rubberization, these seem like they should be quite a bit cheaper. ------ Original review: I’m sure these hooks are fine. They’ll work with the garage rack. Minus 3 stars for Amazon sending me a clearly repackaged, used return. I’m not excited to clean duct tape residue off the hooks. Will see what Amazon customer support says and update as appropriate.

If you have the Hyloft Overhead Storage System these is a great add on for storage of many items. They are very easy to install. Alread have a set in use.

Not much to go wrong here, the item is made for the hyloft storage products. If you are buying a hyloft product get some of these...they just add so much versatility, hang a bike, extension cords whatever...they fit snug so no concern with the hook falling or coming loose. I am using them to hang extension cords, kids bikes, coolers right now....

Fantastic hooks at a great price! I used them for all kinds of things under the overhead garage shelving - bikes, helmets, etc!

Great price and they work great.

These suck. They never stay up. Fall off with any weight applied to them. Def not as advertised.
