Rich People Problems (Crazy Rich Asians Trilogy) [Kwan, Kevin] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Rich People Problems (Crazy Rich Asians Trilogy) Review: Enjoyable Read! - I pre-ordered this book in desertcart Kindle and it was automatically delivered to me on the day of the launch. Such joy, joy, joy! This is is probably the only book (aside from Harry Potter books) which I read and devoured on the first day. It was back to Singapore again with the Young-Shang-T'sien clan because Grandmummy Su Yi had a heart attack. We were introduced to new characters like Auntie Cat (the Thailand Youngs) and her family, and some other secondary and tertiary characters. The book revolved around Shang Su Yi (and her back story), Astrid & Charlie, Nick & Rachel, and the Young sisters. Kitty and her new found wealth also played a big role in the story. This is a very good and enjoyable read that will take the readers back to the excessive and extravagance spending of the Asian rich. Though I must admit that the characters on the third book are less "severe" in spending compared to the first two books. I loved this better than the second book (China Rich Girlfriend) because I loved Nick's family and their craziness better than the drama of Rachel's family. I have some questions about this book and I hope that Kevin Kwan will keep writing about these lively Asian characters that we all come to love. Special shout out for the mentions aabout Philippines and our gorgeous Palawan islands and beaches. Funny though that he mentioned "Diego San Antonio" and "Tommy Yip" in the book. Everyone who's anyone in the Philippines knows who these characters are. Another fun read! Thanks, Kevin Kwan! We want more! Review: One of my favorite series! - I love these books. I know I say that for just about every book review but they are so good. The characters are hilarious and easy to get emotionally attached too. At one point I wanted to just die for poor Rachel dealing with Nicks mom. I couldn’t believe what she did and I laughed so hard. This book is a little bit more emotional because there is a death but no spoilers and I was truly sad but happy with the ending. I want another one! I need more of Astrid and I want the next chapter for Rachel and Nick. These books are easy to read and lots of fun and that’s why I enjoy them so much!

Rich People Problems
I have been a big fan of Kevin Kwan since his first book, Crazy Rich Asians, which was published in 2013. Needless to say, I was very excited about the opportunity to read the third installment of the series- Rich People Problems. As the story resumes, beloved matriarch Sun Yi falls ill, and her large extended family flies in from around the world, although it remains to be seen whether they arrive out of filial obligation or because they hope to inherit Tyersall Park, the family compound. Let’s be honest with each other: it’s mostly the latter. Tolstoy said that “each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way”, and this is certainly the case. Prepare yourself for over the top antics as everyone vies for a portion of the estate- never mind that Sun Yi has not actually passed away yet. Rich People Problems capitalizes on the key points that made the first two books successful: name-dropping of designer brands and mouth-watering descriptions of food. There are several different storylines happening simultaneously, but of course, they all center around the aforementioned soap opera antics. I would recommend Rich People Problems. I would suggest reading the first two books before tackling this one so that you have a full appreciation of the family dynamic and the numerous ensemble characters. This is a light book (with the exception of one plotline) and it was a fun read. The end of the book leaves the possibility for another entry in the series- perhaps in 2019?- one can only hope! Even if this is to be the end of the series, I am looking forward to the Crazy Rich Asians movie!

Love this books and Kevin Kwan.
This appears to be the last in the trilogy...so far of the Kevin Kwan books. His first two Crazy Rich Asians and China Rich Girlfriend were excellent books and this books is no different, the author's writing style I really liked. This book is continuing the story of all the characters from the first two books. I really liked the back story of Su Yi the matriarch of the Shang-Young clan, the elderly grandmother in the storyline in all the books. Just her story alone could lead to another book. But once again the whole family gets together (along with their maids and nannies) at the deathbed of Su Yi. This books somewhat sums up many of the character story lines and again this book is filled with wealth unimaginable and funny stories. A must read, I loved it.

not as good as the first one
not as good as the first one, it felt like the author was extending the story unnecessary. But it was ok

Read them in order
I bought the entire trilogy at once. I so enjoyed the first book that I immediately went on to the second, only to realize near the end, that I was reading the 3rd book. Even so, I was able to understand everything. However, when finished with the 3rd, I delved into the second, and had many aha moments, so this is why this happened and so forth. I loved this trilogy and recommend reading it in the correct order. All of the top reviews say everything I believe. I will go a step further. If you are not into big spending and consider it obnoxious, then this series is not for you. I thoroughly ENJOY all the brand names and exciting places. I am now passing the trilogy on to my best friend. I'm sure she will love it as much as I did. It may bot be a pulitzer prize winner but it is definitely entertaining. Oh yes, and I DID skim the final book again to clarify some of the finer points.

Satisfying Conclusion to the CRA Trilogy
I enjoyed Rich People Problems (⭐️⭐️⭐️💫), the final book in the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy, but not as much as the two previous books in the series. I thought RPP was a little too long, too many storylines and featured too much Kitty Pong and Eddie Cheng. Although, Eddie provided the comic relief. He is the epitome of ridiculousness. Overall it just felt uneven. However, for the most part, Rich People Problems is a satisfying conclusion to the Crazy Rich Asians saga.

enthralling & delicious!
Couldn’t put it down. The food was described so well, I felt like I was eating it myself. Historical fiction meets soap opera!
