Quality bee frames for a good price. They were easy to assemble and my honeybees have had no issues building comb on them.

I initially tried frames that came with my hive that had no foundation. The bees were slow to build comb after a week. I replaced the frames with these foundation frames and the bees were all over it. You can smell the beeswax when these foundations arrive, and the bees love it. A couple weeks later and the frames I replaced all had comb on them. I highly recommend these frames and foundations. I will never go without a foundation again. No problem with wood splitting when driving nails during the assembly process as others have mentioned. Just be careful when assembling and make sure you are buying the correct product, not a knock-off.

Got here fast, everything was in the box. Assembly is easy, no directions needed. I'll buy from them again.

They were good and sturdy but these types need more wax put on them before installing.

I am not writing this about the quality of the product because it is quite good. The problem is my Bees hate the black background. It seems like it took forever for them to build comb. It was actually a dumb move on my part because I read in several books that Bees do not like the color black . Then why would they like this? It was my mistake . The item itself is sturdy and well built. Just make sure when you put them together you nail them together correctly or the frame will fall apart when you try to pull it out.

I'm overall very happy with this product. The contents were packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. All of the pieces were there and there were a dozen extra nails after the assembly was complete. There is a page of instructions for those that may be doing this for the first time. The wooden pieces were nice and straight and as good a quality or better than the assembled ones included in the box store kits. The foundation was black and was amply covered with a coating of beeswax. The foundation was clean and free of debris with the exception of the outermost pieces that had minimal sawdust that was easily brushed off. I would buy and recommend this product in the future.
