AT&T Wi-Fi Turbo Hotspot 2, 256 MB, Black - Prepaid Hotspot, dual band

Ordered this to keep in our service truck. Works great.

I bought this at Walmart 2 years ago and no problems. This hotspot had no SIM card or way to get started. No instructions or charger. I boroughs a SIM card and activated with att. I paid 300.00 for year subscription to service and the device will not work. The prepay was non refundable and this hotspot does not register. I don’t understand how the Walmart one for the same price came ready to activate with all instructions and sim and this one has nothing other than the box. The battery was not in the device or in the box with this either which was another expense I paid

Every morning I need to turn unit off and back on for it to reset to the cell network. It drops connection at least once a day. Power switch is almost useless (Device has completely locked up unresponsive), ended up having to take back case off and remove battery for three seconds and then reinstall battery. Give it a couple of minutes to reconnect to cell tower and you are good to go for 12 - 18 hrs. Been using for eight months now and have noticed it seems to be getting worse as month pass by. Note our three cell phones are connected to the same tower and do not have any disconnection issues unlike this AT&T turbo to device.

I bought three devices before this one. This works like a charm from the get go. You only need cellular SIM card not prepaid. Does what it says it does. Easy assembly and hook up and uses.

The charger that came with it didn't work. Other than that after a couple days use it seems to be working fine. Shipping was fast and came on time.

I almost returned it because I couldn't get it to charge, like others mentioned. After playing around, I realized it's the plug that didn't work. It still takes a bit to charge all the way, and it looses the charge quickly. I was disappointed that at times I would plug it in and it would start charging then after a couple hours it quit charging and was loosing the charge. The wi-fi is slower than when I used my phone as my hot spot, I'm thinking about ditching this and going back to having the hotspot from my phone - might be more expensive, but the reliability would be worth it.

This should be part of any student or child. It augments the LTC of a wifi enabled device. If one has used up its data allotment, they can rest as ease that there is a backup for emergency. Just be very careful as not to drop this device as it is small and May slip very easily. I don’t recommend pockets. Use a pouch w a zipper

The service is not reliable. The connection never stays connected. In all ways and forms this is a waste of your money. Save up and buy a better product. This is of such poor quality. It's almost impossible to use the internet minutes you have to buy for this. It's twice a waste of money. When you purchase this item and then when you purchase the minutes to work it. Also getting to tech support is IMPOSSIBLE. The website took me to the app and the app said I had to go through the website. It was a circle of no results. Do not purchase this.
